Seeing how the entire Bible is giving us power to live our daily lives I can understand how some would take it so far as to say they are speaking for God like the character’s in scripture do. God still uses people to do and say things in normal everyday life. I definitely agree they should not say they are giving a prophecy straight from God, but God does speak through people everyday. I don’t think every person doing this necessarily means any harm but it does create more confusion for new believers and unbelievers.

I have a few question. Acts says "and it filled all the house where they were sitting" but isn't it true that the non-Levites would not be allowed inside the temple. If they were in the courtyard, this could not be filled, because it was open to the sky. I think the whole idea is: the tabernacle was filled, then Solomon's temple was filled, the rebuilt temple was not filled, finally, the Spirit fell on the believers. This prophecy was fulfilled: "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

You are correct. GOD had call the Jews to tarry for 50 days after Passover, which is (Shuvuot) or Pentecost, they were commanded to be at the TEMPLE. Leviticus 23.
