The Next Big Thing - A Message from Ryan Jones
Great job on the video. It might be helpful to have some other videos which show in detail how the reader encounters elements and reads each, e.g., alt text, header 1, etc. out loud. To demonstrate the importance of accessibility preparation with documents, presentations, etc.
Hi i am rabia. I am statisticion but couldn't use statistical software. Can you please tell me which statistical softwares are supported with JAWS . Waiting for your reply. Thanks .
This is so exciting. I'm curious what the user response has been. Do people find this feature useful? Is it sufficiently accurate? Or are users sticking with alt-text despite the intrinsic limitation of sometimes just not being available or being low effort?
Hello FreedomScientific, Since JAWS now includes Face in View and PictureSmart AI, I'd like to suggest a future topic: using JAWS with video editing or recording software. I recently created a video where I recorded a PowerPoint presentation alongside myself discussing the content. However, after saving the video and showing it to a friend for feedback, I was disappointed to learn that both the text and my image were unclear. While the recording software I used (OBS Studio) is very much accessible with JAWS, the issue likely lies in configuration for capturing both the speaker and on-screen content effectively. Therefore, I propose a future video tutorial demonstrating how to use JAWS with video recording software. This would be incredibly helpful for many visually impaired users who wanted to become vlogger. Thank you for your time and consideration.
This is a GREAT idea, thank you! We will definitely consider putting this on our schedule.
This is awesome. I'm glad you guys have integrated GPT into Jaws and fusion. I use fusion and Jaws professionally and I would really love to see an overhaul of fusion done in a lower level programming language like c or c++. Fusion uses up all of my system resources
How to remove JAWS cell marker from excel?
I know these videos are several years old, but please redo these videos that you are doing specifically because your talkback, jaws voice is way too fast
What is fusion? Make a video on it
Is the full JAWS software free to install and use? Because I keep getting the 40 mins demo
These are very helpful in my training, question, how do you add an attachment? Thank you!

Hello! That voice is Ava, who is one of the Vocalizer voices.
I am liking windows 11 no more in windows 10. However, I cannot add windows 10 right now, because I would have to upgrade my PC. It’s seven years old, and according to the PC health tech app, I need to have installed ppm 2.0… Not installed. For now, I’m still back in a decade of windows 10. Thank you for the video, though, and I’ll keep watching.
tell me this voice name?
I also want this kinda voice in my jaws please help me how can I get it
Arrow not error. Thanks Apple dictation
Is there an ability to have Jaws automatically indicate when a line is indented or not when navigating up and down by line in a word document? Otherwise, I can't tell without testing each paragraph first line through use of the error keys, whether it is indented or not.
There needs to be the ability to assign a hot key to certain inconsistencies. I want to be able to navigate to everywhere that there's an inconsistent font change for example. And so on for each type of inconsistency. or, to navigate to everywhere there's extra spaces. So on.
Hi! So in presentation mode jaws does not annonce what text appears if I press the space bar while using the appear (on clic) animation?
I believe Jaws jam, is a great idea, if we could build it please
Hi there, I’m not sure where the best place to ask is, so figured I’d start here. My name is Paula Hobley. I have worked in the digital accessibility space since 2016. I have used screen reading software in many different scenarios ranging from writing up case notes in databases (my previous advocacy and triage roles) to the minutia of formatting (throughout my education and within my current position as Accessibility Consultant at Made Simpler). Made Simpler is a company providing consultancy services within the digital design for health arina. I would be very interested in joining the Beta program and testing upcoming versions of JAWS with programs such as Figma and Miro which currently do not work well with screen readers. These are programs used often within my workplace. Improved access to programs like these would give the JAWS screen reader an edge-it would be the first to embrace access to design apps. This fits with the statement made in this video recognising the right to access. Vispero would also benefit from my experience testing the accessibility of digital environments-all-be-it from a slightly different slant. If somebody could please get in touch and direct me as to how I could get involved in beta testing I would be greatly appreciative. I do not have a FaceBook account, but you are welcome to message me on LinkedIn. I can be found at au.linkedin.com › paula-hobley-957421242 I look forward to hearing from somebody at the Vispero team. Many thanks Paula 1:25

Is the Moore app bar button similar to pressing shift plus F10 to open the context menu, which is the equivalent of right clicking for sighted folks?
Thank you! For showing the shortcut to inserting a blank Column!
Thank you so much for this video.
Thank you what an awesome productivity tip! 0:34
Does ZT work on websites such as eBay or Google or my bank? Can these be chaged to white on black for example??
This video appears to be outdated. The way to do this now (in 2023) is this: 1. Create a new email 2. On the Ribbon, click on the Insert tab 3. Click the three dots on the far right to show more options. 4. Under 'Include', click 'Calendar'. 5. In the popup window called 'Send a Calendar via Email', choose your options and click 'OK'. This should insert the same kind of information into the email that is shown in the video. In the interest of shortcut keys, it appears to me that this sequence of keys will do the same steps as I described above: Create a new email: CTRL+N Trigger Calendar popup window: ALT+N+00+C (Those are zeros, not capital o's)
For some reason, when I try to click add/remove voices, it literally just says leaving menus, and that's it. I have no idea why.
Hello, definitely reach out to training@vispero.com so we can get you one on one help for this issue!
😊
Hi everyone, how are you doing? Firstly thank you so much for taking the time to go through Microsoft Teams. It is so very much appreciated. This is the second training video I’ve come across from a few weeks ago, and beyond, obviously just repeating that, I’m very grateful, I wonder whether you have got, I could produce a video to describe what’s happening visually. In this case, for example, when you say if you’ve got a meeting there is a chat associated with it, I’m not really sure what that means. That could be me not picking something up, but I’m originally advanced jaws user. I think that would be super helpful is, if somebody could stick on a video is part of the training just to explain what the screen AMT is, what team is generically can do, and any terms that might make some sense, for instance meetings, having a chat associated with them. Thank you very much. This is all very appreciated Adam watching with interest and gratitude.
