Battle Beast Demo Gameplay (PC)
A video showcasing gameplay of the demo version of Battle Beast, a fighting game for Windows 3.1 and 95.
EDIT (7 July 2019): While this demo is nowhere near comparable to the final game, it is worth noting that the defeated opponent does not look beaten up while in the non-beast form like in the retail version. Also, I do not think the move for trash can throwing is in the final game but I could be mistaken.

The Making of Harvester
zhlédnutí 29KPřed 15 lety
Harvester is an MS-DOS adventure game released in 1996. Very gory for its time but still today as twisted and sick as back then. This is the making of video found from the first and third disc of the game. This video can already be found on CZcams but I want more people to know about this game so I'll upload it anyway. It actually succeds in something unusual: it's (in my opinion) a good FMV ga...

Kids: so where's the game Me: THIS WAS MY GAME... WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Nostalgic. If only that music was a full tune not just a 20 second loop or whatever it is.
To have heard the music as a 8 year old in 1997 and be legit freaked out......this was one of those embrace the darkness/embrace your shadow moments.......then in 2016 when I started watching Naruto Shippuden and came across orichimarus lair with Sasuke in it........suddenly I was completely transported back to this dark experience......at times the music still makes my hair rise with goosebumps
Graphics still hold up.. amazing that they never did a game of it??? 👀 I was very scared that I would come back to see it and it is a walking triangle with my memory doing most of the graphic card’s work..
The graphics were insane back then and they STILL ARE.
Now we have the Apple Vison Pro dinosaur demo. Cant wait to see where technology takes us in another 30 years
And in the end no one used this level of detail in games
Awful game
Haha remembering mirin those graphics back then.😂
Vamos🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
This gay strip club music 😂
bruh
I used to make it talk and do a silly voice, had me and my little sister in stitches! Good times
What is the song that starts at 1:52?
Devil, Harvester OST.
Still looks incredible
I was absolutely terrified of this when I was 3 years old 🤣🫣
I remember getting my first PS1 on Christmas day and being absolutely blown away by the graphics, the music, the atmosphere, and the huge list of awesome demos Then, when Resident Evil and Silent Hill hit, that was it
Id software now this... growing up in dallas in the 90s ruled...now its just whatever
Frisson total🥲
Its always strange seeing thing like this that may look dated now but were impressive at the time, be it this or the Money for Nothing video; it really puts how far technology has come into perspective
That music is epic
The creator kurt kistler is a pedophile
I remember seeing this demo when i was young. And it gave me nightmares.
Most of the people don't know that this demo changed the whole gaming industry. Its the first thing that Sony showed to the game developers before releasing the first PlayStation console and developers watch it and left speachless for a while.
Aesthetics overload. I'm frazzled.
some years later, he is fighting with a robot
Song??
oh my GOD, this damn fucking dinosaur gave me genuine nightmares when i was 4yo. no joke, i had dreams where i was chased by it around the house while crying and screaming, all the while the ambient music played. it''s almost surreal to see it here 20 years later, i still have some of the ps1 demo discs
This freaked me out as a kid!
I fought him!
I remember myself and my mate being absolutely blown away by this demo some time back in the mid-1990s. His parents bought him a PS for Christmas, and one day they were gone out and he knew where they'd hidden all the Xmas presents, he took it and set it up and we had a quick play with it before putting it away again.
I made the soyest of soi faces when i first saw this.
That's damn impressive
Danke für ein paar Lichtblicke in einer sonst recht verkorksten Vergangenheit... danke für GUTE Tage und Nächte.. Danke Ingo...🌏🐾🖖
why is it so eerie... the music... the low poly t rex, look at those goofy ass teeth... the black background...
Appariantly. This was the original tech demo Ken Kutaragi used to showcased the power of the PlayStation, thus making this T-Rex the first EVER PlayStation character.
This made me shit my pants as a kid. The ambience, the dark room, the dino itself. I still have a pavlovian reaction to it,it gives me chills. But it's still a nice memory considering how dumb kids are,as was i. Good times.
This dino finally found fortune and fame casting for Super Mario Oddysey 20 years later
I wish this was a game
I still have this on disc
I was a Nintendo 64 kid, but damn does this hit right. They were rightfully proud of this thing.
Everyones talking about the graphics but none about how much this music fucking VIBES
Dino crisis style
My mom presented me PlayStation on 1996 New Year Eve. I was awed.
that looks like a real mean SOB....
this dino probably has more texels than all of bubsy 3D combined
I wasnt born in this era... this feels like a bad acid trip
jesus this is so indescribably 90s, every single thing about it
🙏😔♥️thx for this Time
Even though you could just turn the camera and make it open the mouth, show teeth and turn head, i spent more hours with this than in many modern games
I really wish tomorrow i woke up in summer 95... I'd give up anything for that
