    what about plotting gps "boundaries" and then using UAV/Drone to spray herbicides/fungicides/insecticides & liquid fertilizers? Has this been accomplished/done? This would save on fuel/carbon footprint/human labor & expensive tractors & sprayers. Thanks Hamp

    what drone you use for this purpose....it is able to film overhead structures....will it work with no gps as would be the case when the drone goes below the bridge...and what about underwater mapping..can sonar be fitted on this.

      This actually looks like a complete lidar scan with an oblique orthomosaic 3d model overlayed onto the lidar point cloud.... Ive rarely seen 3D scans that are this detailed so im thinking the 3d structure itself was captured with Lidar. As far as your GPS question, drones can use optical flow sensors or RTK units to hold position when the GPS does not have a fix, however, a 3d scan is different from an orthomosaic in that the GPS tag on the photos usually has very little to do with how the software stitches the images together and renders the model..

WILL YOUR PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY UNDERWRITE CRITICAL DISCISSIONMAKING BAISED ON THE MODEL. CAN YOU REPEAT IT TO AND RELY UPON DIFFERENTIAL MEASUREMENT TO MAKE COMPARATIVE CRITICAL DECISIONS OVER TIME? NO......DIDN'T THINK SO so what's the point, just another costly waste of time..

    Nice footage. I wonder why there is gimbal jitter (roll) in most of the shots. For example @0:19 look at top right corner and the jitter is imminent.
