I had a superbly talented friend who played cricket with us as children here in Barbados, not too far from where Rihanna was born, but unfortunately, this guy never met his guiding figure. Unfortunately, his talent was wasted in drugs and violence. Sometimes, I sit and wonder what might have been for him because he was so innately talented. He cried once when I asked him about it. He even asked me to stop reminding him about it. We need more guiding lights like Mr Pigden all over the world.
