Сейчас в России навязывают изменённый текст этой песни. Поют "русской армии герои" или "прошлой армии герои", полную версию не исполняют, потому что в ней про колхозы и красных. В 90-е годы столько лживого говна вылили на советскую власть, что многие, не побоюсь даже предположить, что большинство, бывших советских граждан так и не очистили свои мозги от этого дерьма. “People to the guns!” was not originally the song of the German Voklssturm. The song was written in 1931, was dedicated to Joseph Goebbels and was used in SA marches. Later in the propaganda film "The Polish Campaign" from 1940. Towards the end of the war, this song was further used for propaganda purposes in connection with the mass mobilization and the resulting "Volkssturm".
