Absolutely LOVED and related to this video and your style. I recently did a color analysis and learned that I am a True Winter which works out fantastic for me because I love wearing black. Something new but not so new I discovered what that anything off-white, tan, beige, cream just washes me out. Stark white suits me more so I am venturing out into wearing bold colors, black, and white. I also adore popflex; would love to see your take on them!

Very happy to find your video. This is the 3rd of your videos that I've watched. I'm in my 50's divorcing and am desperate to revamp my style after over 35 years of narcissistic abuse. I have so many odds and ends and struggle getting ready every day. Some days I'm in tears before leaving the place I'm living right now. It doesn't feel like home to me yet, so I don't call it that. Thankfully, when I searched for minimalist wardrobe capsule for women ideas, your video with the 12 pieces came up. It's just what I needed. I love that you gave the formula and the details as to why you used the pieces/how they fit the formula. I can review my pieces, eliminate those that don't work, and maybe pick up what I'm lacking and finally look pulled together instead of running around half embarrassed. I looked at the 9 piece, but that's a bit sparse for me to be my whole wardrobe, but I can certainly travel with it. Thank you.

My goodness, thank you thank you! I've been trying to get the "formula" for this figured out and it seemed to evade me. I appreciated the details of your explanation: get one set, 1 patterned piece, make sure all tops and bottoms are compatible, etc. I took notes on every thing and it's spectacular. It's just enough information without taking up a lot of time. I'm going to go home and evaluate my stuff using your formula and get rid of the excess that is driving me crazy. I think you gave the perfect amount for reliable variety, time to do laundry/repair, and have a system that is very manageable. I can actually do this. I'm sharing it with my mom and daughters. More is not always better, it's exhausting.
