Does anyone know the name of the first song? By the way, for all those criticizing Mortiis, I have a story to tell: Last Friday I went to a very cool concert place I usually go in Brussels, Magasin 4. I never got disappointed there. Neither that day. I literally never listened to this kind of music. I was alone this weekend so I said, f*** it, I’ll go there even if I don’t know who’s playing. At the beginning I was like ok, maybe this is not my stuff. After 2-3 songs there I started to like it. When he played the last song, which was actually the first one again, like closing a cycle I started to think: What? Why? Why is he finishing? I want more of this shit. I pretty much liked it and now I’m kind of addicted to the first song. Now, this said, it won’t be me the one saying this is not music, but you can like it or not. If you don’t, you know, there’s no need for destructive criticism, just don’t listen to it. Period. There’s so much work behind that synth, composing, thinking, being creative. I bet most of the criticizers don’t understand any of that. I’m a drummer myself and I clearly see that the music we play is not liked by every assistant to our concerts, but they don’t come and say: hey, you play like shit. But whatever you think, he’s an artist, so have some respect. The magic being a musician is that you don’t have to be famous to do what you like. Not only have the most famous ones deserved respect, also the others. I don’t like Justin Bieber and I don’t go into his videos saying shit about him. I had no idea this kind of music even existed, now I’m fond for it. I would say that’s an achievement and a clear sign that there are people who like him. If you don’t, go somewhere else.

I love ERA 1 music, never got into his manson-esque style. But, I agree this show needs something unique and more sinister. This really needs visual effects overload, something to the effect a la' Aphex Twin's concert visuals.
