How can you make a blanket for half of what you would pay in a store? You mentioned in stores they cost $70-$90. Bernat Blanket Big skeins are $12.99 at Michael’s. Do you have a favorite website where you buy your yarn? Or a different way to buy yarn for so much cheaper? Thanks!

I did this a bit differently I made it for my cat but smaller because I didn’t have that much yarn but this was very easy for a 12 year old

Mines bernnat pop bulky yarn I'm using circlar needles I've seen a tik tok man making these by hand and selling them like 180.00 per a blanket his definitely raking it I'm left handed just using my knitting circlae needles.

Awesome video! You had me at "Don't unravel seven rolls just to fix one loop", I started laughing so hard because that is so me. I'm just a perfectionist and I'm trying my best to get away from doing that, nowadays if I see a mistake, I figure out a way to fix it without unraveling. Do you turn to the 2nd row on your last loop on the 1st row? I think you did 32 loops on your post it note.

I think I accidentally started by making the first row the width, not the length. Is that going to mess it up in some way?

What do you do to the first piece that is just loose and could easily unravel.

I learned this recently. The instructor showed us how to fuse the edges together with heat, it left a clean edge of yarn with no knot.

To join the wool you burn the ends and they stick together…👍🏻👍🏻
