I have a google drive account just to back up all of them, a copy of them all on my PC, and a copy of all of them on my external. Not a single episode or movie or minis clip will ever be lost.

Saw AMV Hell 5 at AWA so many years ago. Every year or so I watch them all because between the music and the comedy it's just entertaining. I was just thinking the other day "Man, I wish they were still making those" so seeing this makes me so happy.

This one. THIS VIDEO is what got me into anime. I was a late entrant into the fandom, having not watching any anime until I was 23. Watched this video due to the influence of a friend who had taken me to a comic book/sci-fi/gaming/anime convention... she and some friends showed me the first two AMV Hells, and I enjoyed the heck out of them. After getting home from the convention, I found that AMV Hell 3 had just been released, so I set about downloading and watching it. Though I didn't catch the anime references, obviously, I still thought it was hilarious, and decided I *HAD* to get into watching anime. Even used AMV Hell 3 as my guide as to what series to watch in my first two or so years, based on their appearances in the video.

Ngl, I WAS psyched for this until I saw the rules listing almost a year ago and saw the firm emphasis on Music entries at the detriment of spoken audio despite this trailer using mostly spoken audio. That led me to conclude this was probably being helmed by the person that did the original AMV Hell 6 . . . I had SO MANY ideas I wanted to pitch into this project until I saw that blatant NO CREATIVE FUNNIES UNLESS MUSIC sign in the rules. I hope these videos end up being something good

I never saw these as a teen, but I saw a lot of CZcams Poops, and this has the same energy and REALLY takes me back. Humor was VERY different back then, and also a bit rapey. I appreciate the Weird Al references though.
