I’m surprised to see how many people think this was a goof on purpose by the firefighters! I actually think it was a water gun malfunction. Aside from celebratory purposes, water salutes double up as training exercises for ARFF brigades to ensure all there equipment, including their crash tenders are working properly. Unfortunately for Dubai’s crew, that was not the case. Both the Saudia A320 and that crash tender need some maintenance!

Cant see the runway well?? dont land.. That was a runway excursion on landing. After it, I can hear one engine having compressor stalls due too high AOA. Pilot errors. That left landing gear might be damaged..

Same happened to me at Kolkata airport. It is best to book direct flight , during connecting flight these kind of incidents happen. Also if you have connecting flight then make sure you pack liquor in check in baggage and reach the booking counter at least an hour before end time so that in case of any issue you can pack the bottles

They let you buy it at the duty free shop but you can't take it with you, what type of sh*t is that, ignorant staff is the norm at airports these days.
