Personally I think it's an awful style, not in itself, but in a way it doesn't fit with miraculous. That isn't really a movie one yet not the se,a artsyle that we had and gave a show a small bit of it's personality. Now it looks too generic, faces are looking really off and there was nothing really bad with old one. Even if there is a problem with transfering old models to new versions of software company probably could afford paying for new models (especially with the way they went out pf their way to sue people selling cheap unofficial toys in a freaking russia) also which they already did since they have these models for ue Also, you can't really take out purpose from unreal engine rendering - it's amde for games and so whatever comes out of it feels like a game. Be it software gimmick or the fact that people who ani,ate in ue are probably usually hired to animate for games I don't know and honestly it's hard to care - what isn't hard to care though is about series quality, vibe and personality that only lose in this situation

Looking back on how disappointing Starlight Glimmer's backstory was, it was probably wise of the writers to keep Cozy's a mystery and let fans make their own interpretations. Case in point, Aleximusprime's story about her over on Fimfic.

I always thought that Cadence was Twilight's babysitter before she was an alicorn. A princess would have more important duties to start something new. Additionally, what parents would hire a princess. It would be too weird and embarrasing for Twilight's parents to give orders to their ruler. I think she met Twilight beforehand, and, after becoming an alicorn, decided to keep her role. It couldn't have been Celestia to ask her to care for Twilight because in the Canterlot wedding flashback, Celestia still couldn't have met twilight because twilight doesn't have her cutie mark yet. It would make sense that Cadence left after Twilight got her cutie mark, probably because twilight didn't need her anymore and she had other duties to attend to. This is likely, because when we see young Twilight studying magic and struggling, after she'd passed the entrance exam, Cadence isn't there to help her. This would also explain why the two haven't seen each other in a long time: they haven't met since twilight left for school.

There is a theory that Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie and AppleJack and Rainbow Dash are actually all just gender-bent versions of Two Iconic Animated Male Duo's: SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star and Woody and Buzz Lightyear respectively which is ironic since both duos are voiced by the same actresses Andrea Libman and Ashleigh Ball respectively.

Celestia, the most responsible (or most queenly) Princess right there. She has a similar leadership quality to Queen Elsa from Frozen, and so forth. Though she has her faults, Celestia is in my book the best Ruler of Equestria. Twilight did an excellent job aswell, at least until Hasbro Sabotaged her. Luna is awesome aswell, but reminds me more of batman, rather than a full blown princess, a good frontline hero/princess.

I'm fine with the CGI 3D modeled ponies as I always thought it was cool, but seeing the 2D style just reminds me of all these modern day shows (more-so cartoon based) trying to appeal to kids more than a mix of both target and non target audience. (I think if a show can appeal to a non-targeted audience, especially a kid audience targeted one, that can be a pretty good show.) Which as a fan of older series or versions of these shows makes it feel awful to see these newer animated versions as they loose some of that charm that the other audiences like just to appeal to the younger audience. I can agree that if it was just a separate kind of situation it could be a lot better. Also while watching the Netflix series (CGI models) I've seen a few animation errors that make me laugh. Lore just goes out the window in Gen 5

The fact they pretty much shot themselves in the proverbial foot by not having a definitive idea behind the series. There were leaks/rumors about a different take on G5 which sounded much more intriguing that wasn't tied to G4, but then due to the popularity of G4 they decided to figuratively crowbar the two into continuity, even if lore-wise it'd make no sense whatsoever: Only tertiary references like Twilight Sparkle having been alive and undoing her legacy by outright destroying it, let alone none of the other creatures exist despite wanting to convince us (and fail at it) that this is Equestria. The world is uninspired and sterile with the constant references to contemporary culture like the Internet with online influencers and such, which severely takes away from the world which is meant to be based on magic and mysticism. If I wanted a story about online influencers: I have to put up with that in real life already.

I've just been reading fanfiction instead of watching the actual show. There is a really good G5 rewrite on AO3 by ilovelegendsalot called G5 reimagined, I really like that one, it fixed everything wrong with G5 and has an actually plot and character arcs. Crazy that the fans could do a vastly superior job than the real show writers.

Honestly I just... stopped caring after the movie. The movie came out, and I didn't even KNOW the show was coming out. I saw literally no advertisements for it. Long after it came out I saw memes and was like "huh wtf" and then, I pretty much just... didn't care. I just rewatched g4. The show should have focused on its own lore.

Wait a sec! If I may, the first curiosity on your list isn't about the group of sailors from sailor moon. Each cardboard represents a character from a different anime/Manga. Starting from the left we have : Usagi or the sailor moon Rei ayanami from Evangelion Lady Oscar from the anime/manga of the same name. Though I am not entirely sure about this one. The in the background it's Bulma from the dragon ball days And finally Ranma from Ranma 1/2

But there are the background alicorns and some of them were male. The most clearest example is male Alicorn named Rivet

One curiosity that I have is that Trixie worked at a rock farm after her humiliation and before she sought revenge against Twilight. It isn't fully confirmed that its the Pie Family's rock farm, but then again how many other rock farms do you know of? I'd like to know how she fared at the farm and if working there was what got her the large amount of gold to purchase the alicorn amulet.
