One of my favorite arcs
Looking back, Enis lobby might be one of the best arcs in One Piece. I used not to care for it because of how long it is but now none of that matters. Remembering Robin's redemption and the crew's determination to rescue her bumps up the arc in my l list.

Imagine being Robin, you’ve lived your life running and barely surviving. The two people whom you thought were the only ones capable of loving you, a monster, are dead. You’re literally 28 years old and think you’ve seen it all. And out of nowhere this 17 year old something kid comes out of nowhere. Beats up a warlord, beats up some marines, infiltrates G8, and just declared a war against the world government, EVENTHOUGH you beat him up, you framed them of attempted murder, and you were just an enemy a month ago in alabasta. And EVENTHOUGH you said multiple times ‘I wanna die’ he quite literally just says ‘no u don’t lol’ he risked his life, he could’ve just went off into the sunset, to save you. And not only him but that one coward in the group, yeah the dude who’d sell out anyone for his life, that guy. He sets the flag on fire, subsequently being the one to declare war. And throughout all of this, there’s a cyborg in some speedo crying abt the power of friendship. I’d also cry

I’ve been watching this over and over again and it’s made me realize the beauty of water 7 writing. Both Usopp and Robin were so wrapped up in their own goal of leaving the crew. Both having no idea about each other’s struggle until later. But both with just being how they are as people brought each other back to members of the crew. They fed off each other this arc without knowing it.
As someone who the enis lobby arc really resonated with this animation is great
