Great meeting the two of you at Gen Con! I’m so jealous that you get to discover Photograph for the first time. It’s easily one of my favorite games and one of the best card games out of Japan. It’s like Lost Cities but with nothing but brutally painful choices. Cheers!

Right now I'm most excited about Old King's Crown. The discord community is super strong and it's great seeing the results of the playtests and the new art reveals. As for ones arriving soon I'm probably most excited about Through the Ice and Snow which has been a long time waiting and the new Tokyo Highway + Expansion as it looks really different from anything in my collection. The 2 upcoming campaigns I'm most excited about are Natera which I played at Origins and fell in love with and Speakeasy which is likely to be my favorite Vital Lacerda theme of all time.

Hey guys. Thanks for the overview as always. I don't think that I would rush to get Norsemen even though it looks interesting. It might be a little bit too... I don't know... dry? for me. I just like cute designs or distinct characters better. Funnily enough the crowdfunding campaign I'm most interested in at the moment is a very abstract game called Northwest. It is a puzzly coffee table piece. But I have to admit that I'm not too invested in crowdfunding since I don't have a credit card to back any projects and from a designer's point of view I want to go the more "classical" route of pitching and licensing to publishers. However... I think I definitely would try Norsemen if I had the chance.

I'm trying my hardest to maintain excitement for Merchant's Cove - Master Craft edition. Backed it in Sept 2022 with an estimated Sept 2023 delivery but they're still working on it. Current expectations are a November 2024 delivery, so basically an early Christmas present! lol

excited about "Root The New Expansion" coming soon :) Nice run-through. it is on my watch list (I am a sucker for anything VIKING...ps LOVE Knarr). Also I played PIXIES at GenCon and LOVED IT but it's not available anywhere yet and I can't find any news on it. PLEASE HELP. Keep up the wonderful work :)

I feel like I could instantly start playing. I saw Panda Spin on the Essen Spiel preview list but I did not really feel the urge to check it out more. Well... that has definitely changed. Which animal would I like to see in a boardgame... interesting question. My favorite animals are raccoons. But I think there are already raccoon games. I would like a game that teaches people about other animals I love... Like the Binturong.

Oh this had been on my radar already but your video got me extra psyched for it. As for a game based on an animal there's already Tighee but I also really love Snow Leopards, so maybe someone will make a snow leopard game too.
