That’s a pretty bad ass grading Mat! I just picked up a box from the bank and specifically requested all hand rolls and the tellers were nice enough to give me all the ones they had😅 and I came a cross two old original rolls and one roll that had BU 59-D’s so I was super excited to see that! Great video too I went ahead and subscribed 🫡😃

Well today was my lucky day! I went to a Quick Trip in Tulsa Oklahoma to buy some gas and other stuff, As I was at the counter I noticed something on the floor where the cashier was and asked her what was that? She picked it up and said, I have no idea! I guess it's to my advantage that a lot of these people around here are pretty lame,or don't care, or have no interest at all in anything! 👍 Anyway she brought it to me and WOW! To my surprise,it was an 1818 large cent! That's right! Just laying there on the floor behind the counter! What a great find! What are the chances of this?? I am open to speculation... Anyway I will keep it for good luck 👍! As my lucky penny for sure 😊

Chemical sniffers? That’s interesting and you’re the first to mention what I’ve wondered about coins that were identified by graders as cleaned that weren’t obviously visibly cleaned. How do they know that, I wondered, unless they suspected a cleaned coin but verified it by a chemical detecting agent/process. If so, do graders have an acceptable range of cleaning, i.e, percentage of cleaning solution detected? Some dealers admit having submitted cleaned coins but they were slabbed and other coins received detail grade “cleaned”. Thank you sir

My sets arrived today and they are perfect. I wish all of the previous medals and coins I received this year from the mint were this good. This is how EVERY COIN AND MEDAL should be! I did see them go on sale this Monday Morning Nov 12, 2023 at 7:30 AM EST for about 30 seconds, and then they returned to the "Remind Me" Status again. This is good!

I ordered 3 sets. They took out payment of 2 of the 3 on the 4th. 2 sets show i should get them today. But im looking at tomorrow. I just called the mint and had to give my card info over the phone first time ever so they will send my last set. Not sure why? The funds was in the bank when they took payment on my other 2. I hope my sets are good i did not have much luck with other morgan or peace dollars so far this year.

I noticed right on the cheeks of the Morgan an uneven surface , pretty sure you won’t get a proof 70.

Aren’t these to remain in a sealed us mint box to be graded if you want a special label ??

These are beautiful coins, but I buy "coins" for their spot value, as an investment, and partial "safety net for my assets, and these should be classified as "art". Unfortunately, trying to sell these quickly and/or easily, even at the original purchase price (in the future) will be difficult, with a very small base of collectors.
