Stuttering can be caused by heaps of different things, are you running the game off a HDD ? I once made the mistake of accidently installing the game on my backup HDD instead of my SSD and my game ran so bad despite my PC being a beast. Probably not your problem but I thought id throw it out there anyway just in case. Sorry I cant help more, if you go to the official discord you can get some support over there.

Let me know if you ever get this issue fixed. I'm having the same problem and I've messed with every single setting I can think of and nothing makes a difference. The game is unplayable for me.

Thanks, DLDSR is the way. That's a tough one, I'd go for the CPU but only because when the next gen GPUs come out you will be able to get a 4070 or 4080 to pair with that 5800x3d for a decent price, that combo will last you a long time. But that's my personal opinion, not saying its the right thing to do, id do your own research.

That sucks, does your monitor support 2560x1080 ? You could try that resolution if it does.

There's quiet a few things like that unfortunately, I'm sure over time they will all get fixed, I'm optimistic that it will all get done eventually.

The turrets are not mouse controlled. You have to use WASD keys. And hold control+scroll wheel to switch from hydraulic to manual traverse.

@@_kommandant_3055 Yup, I think in Squad you can use the mouse for the turret, but definitely not in this. I didn't read the first comment properly and just assumed TIEpilot918 was talking about the MG's as they are mouse controlled and jitter / shudder / glitch like mad which looks so janky. I am glad we don't have mouse control on the turrets, but I do think it would be awesome if the devs gave us proper controller support so I could build a big arse tank simulator with custom controllers and shit. Would be so sick driving around in a simulator cranking on levers and shit hahaha.

Yeah they were just lighting everything up, I barely got to see any infantry this match because these guys would make them disappear before i could even see them haha.

@@Azza-25 Haha. I remember hearing over prox chat, some guys yelling that there was a Tiger in the field next to us, then my screen turning black and shaking. Fuck this! I thought. I couldn't cling myself to the bank of the stream enough.. I remember seeing the Sherman roll ahead of us and we felt a bit better having some armour protection. It was rather short lived though, lol.

I am a complete noob at Tanks in Squad 44, but I am trying to get into a bit more, it's a big step up from the tanking in Hell Let Loose that I am use to. I am more than happy to compile a bunch of tips from the guys that know what they are doing and share it, would actually be a great way for me to learn as well so I think this is a great idea. I have a few more videos I'm working on at the moment but once they are done I will 100% put something together for the armour squads. Thanks for the feedback and the video idea.

I feel like you might struggle with a 1050ti, I tested a 1070ti in my other PC and that managed to hold 60FPS at 1080p with some settings turned down, but it was really at it's limit I think.

@@Azza-25 yeah round 30/40 fps but settings dont even make much of a difference i think i should just wait for an optimisation update

@@necromancy6704 Yeah if your CPU is as old as your GPU that is probably more what's holding you back, I mean the 1050 is never gonna be great but if changing your graphics settings makes no difference to performance, it usually means that you are CPU bottlenecked, not always but that's a pretty good way to think about it. I'm sure there will be improvements soon that help people with hardware like yourself, I have found up to 20% reduction in performance at times with the most recent update, for people starting at 60FPS they cant afford to lose 20% of their performance. I have complete faith that the devs will figure it out and bring us bettter performance in the future, they have said that optimisation is a big thing moving forwards for them and I know that they only recently set up profiling tools to try and pin point potential areas for improvement. I think they have delivered on everything else they have promised so I reckon give it a month or two and hopefully we get some sort of massive performance update. Hopefully it doesn't take to long so you can get back out there soon.

That's hard to answer, I don't think there's a yes or no answer but I can tell you my opinion, I only have limited experience using HDR and don't know a whole lot about it, but anyway. HDR if your monitor supports it makes for a better experience, the whites seem brighter the blacks seem darker and the colours are way more vibrant. The game doesn't have native HDR support but you can use either Windows AutoHDR or Nvidias RTX HDR and I found both were pretty similar, I prefer to use HDR as I personally think it looks way better, but that's just personal preference, it can make the colours to vibrant so you may need to to tweak your colour or saturation settings in windows or on your monitor. All my video and screenshots are captured in HDR but they are SDR when I upload them. It's kind of cool, but not game changing and I wouldn't purchase a monitor just for HDR, it seems to never have proper support in games, windows doesn't work well with it, it can mess with some programs, it's a pain in the arse to get it calibrated and then the games never look right so you have to adjust things and its annoying, but it looks really cool when it works well.

@@Azza-25 see basically I’m confused between buying AOC q27g3xmn and ASUS xg27acs. The AOC has a VA panel but really good HDR, but has dark smearing and ghosting problems but a really high contrast ratio, the ASUS on the other hand, has an IPS panel, with really low response times and no ghosting or smearing. So which one should I get? I’m really confused

Hey mate, my CZcams chat should be on screen and working when I stream, however there has been some delay issues i have had recently, all of these clips aren't from a stream just random gameplay I captured. Also as far as I know there isn't any issue with my mic coming through on the streams, but if you could give me more info on what you mean it would be great as I'm still new to this so if there is any issues I'd love to try and fix them. You are not the first person to do this and certainly wont be the last, cheers for adding your issue / fix. There is some awesome little tips, tricks and tidbits of info in here, maybe I should put together a video with all these little bits of info because there is so many little things like this that bug people all the time.

I'm sure the Developers would love hearing that considering this is Unreal Engine 4. Can only imagine how insane this would look with UE5.

Cheers, I'm running a Ryzen 9 5900X with a RTX 4080, but you don't need a 4080 to run this game with everything tricked out at a high resolution, any half decent modern card is more than enough for this game.

@@Azza-25 Cheers, am running an i7 8700k with a 3080ti but still have issues with low frame rates. Your videos have been really helpful making things look better and run smoother. Though nowhere near as good as yours looks. We'll see you on Ci5!
