Same experience. I and my friend were going in my friend's sister's car from home to our school. We sat behind and my bestie sister is driving a car. It was 30 km. So while going in car, i got a bad odour and I started looking here and there for the source of smell. I checked my shoes whether the smell is coming from shoes or not. Then i realised that the smell is coming from my friend's shoes.So I tried to open the windows but it's locked. So i told to turn on the ac. I didn't wanted to embarrass my friend.😂
