Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

I have 4 high interest personal loans at 35% and a total of 19k for all 4. I borrowed the money to gamble at the casinos - yes I know I'm a complete moron 😂😂😢. I'm just trying to consider my best options at paying off this debt. Should I just file for bankruptcy - or seek out some type of debt relief company? I would like to consider one of these types of methods - but im not sure which way to go?

I have added a variety of stocks and ETF to my present holdings for the long term. I also have $300k aside to start following inflation-indexed bonds and stocks of companies with solid cash flow. I strongly believe this is a good time to capitalize on the market for long term gains. But actualizing a short term profit would not be a bad idea for me at all.

It all sounds ok until you realize that in practice it is not used as it was meant to and it doesn't even matter what money is but how people are handling it. Much more useful video would be "How not to get broke" :D

Great content. It's so surprising how people buy crypto and store. What then is the reason of buying without investing it and making profit? Most people think that investing in crypto is all about holding till it rises, come on, it takes time and is a gamble on the long run. Working with Coach Alex he made me believe that when you hold, you stand the chance of losing it all to unexpected dips. So rather than simply holding, I trade crypto under his expertise. For example last year I invested 30k in crypto and made about $246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million.

Living at home with parents has its advantages though. I'm able to have a sizable emergency fund, save for retirement, invest, afford to go to school, and have a little fun money for myself. If I was living on my own with my salary I wouldn't be able to be in a good financial place if it wasn't for living at home. I'm very blessed.

Another strategy some use is refinancing by taking a larger loan with lower interest to cover multiple high-interest loans they already have

I don't mean to brag but I just paid off my mortgage and I'm officially debt free! I put in 20k into various assets which I saved using some of these techniques last year and flipped into six figures within a few months and still going. I hope to attain financial freedom soon. One more thing, keep up the good work.

Too many if not almost all car dealers will not post their prices on their inventory now. The scheme is to get you inside the stealership and engage you rather than you looking at the price without getting out of your car and then driving off. No price?? No sale!! Private party sellers don't have all the BS fees that the stealerships do. Marko has good advice here and you should take heed. 🚦

5 years ago at 49 years of age my wife and I up-sized our home and bought into a much nicer area because rates were super low. Our rate is only 2.875% on a 15 year note. But here's the thing...I don't want to be paying on a mortgage into my mid-60s. I plan to ditch work entirely at 60. So while it makes zero financial sense, we've been paying down the mortgage like crazy from day 1. We will be entirely mortgage free in December of this year.

How to pay off debt? Simple. Stop being a debt slave.

I have 5 credit cards. Each has a specific use. Gas, groceries, restaurants, all other essentials, anything discretionary. 4 for maximizing cash back, 1 for making it easier to track spending habits.

How about you use Velocity Banking with the snowball or avalanche method? Guarantee it will get you out of debt in half the time. 😉

Avalanche all the way. It's how my wife and I paid off our student loans in a couple of years.

What do you call it when you're doing both at the same time? A snowstorm! My highest interest rate debt is my smaller total debt and as they get bigger, the interest decreases. Listening to you has definitely been beneficial!
