This video is being shared on social media and we need to address it. This conspiracy theory is just that - a theory. There is no basis behind these accusations. We're showing this on our channel simply to address the scandal facing Pillbox Games, and declare this to be wildly fictional. There is no such thing as mole people.
MUD: the dirty game of American elections
zhlédnutí 2KPřed 3 lety
MUD (or Money Undermining Democracy) is a simple but strategic card game where you play the role of a wealthy politician, attempting to "buy" an election. You choose just how corrupt you are and how much risk you're willing to take, while wielding a beautifully illustrated deck, full of references to old Americana design, political cartoons, and real political scandals. No knowledge of politics...

KICKSTARTER ON NOV 7! Side Effects is a game of self-medication and personal demons that plays just as well at a bar as at game night. It's easy to learn, fun to play, and lets you be as vindictive as your heart desires. This fall, Side Effects will be available for purchase on Kickstarter. Visit pillboxgames.com for more info. Three questions sorry: 1. What size are the cards? 2. What size is the box? 3. What’s the sanctum? I saw some cards said that.
1. Tarot size 2. Most likely 5.4” x 6.2” x 1.2” 3. Nothing. It was what we were calling the Shadow before we changed the name. This video shows a prototype - the real game is being printed soon (the Kickstarter campaign is going on until June 13, 2024).
Ok thanks for answering!
Hi, will there be a possibility to add Side Effects as addon in Kickstarter?
Of course! It's live on Kickstarter now - check it out.
Does Hex Effects has the same card material and tarot size of Side Effects
It's the same tarot size, but the cards are different. New action cards, different card punishments, and new abilities not offered in Side Effects. Definitely worth getting!
@@pillboxgames is this new game still in stock? Looks like it's sold out on website? Also where can I ask questions about rules of Side Effects? I just received my base and expansion on yesterday but I have questions about the rules of gameplay.
@@jacquailmontgomery7178 Hex Effects is debuting on Kickstarter on May 16. The link is in the description of this video. You can email us at hello@pillboxgames.com any questions about the rules of any of our games and we'd be happy to answer them! And just FYI, the Side Effects Booster Shot expansion pack will be available for a discount on the Kickstarter as well.
@@pillboxgames Thank you. I have sent two emails regarding the base game and its expansion.
I just got to play my copy of Side Effects for the first time 2 weeks ago. Absolutely stunning presentation. The most elegant rule book I've ever read. And masterfully tight mechanics. The level of thought put into that box was insane.. pun intended
Can i ask a question, so any rule about min max card in hand in one turn?
Discard down to six cards at the end of your turn.
@@pillboxgames thanks a lot :D
So if you have a a disorder with a medicine card on it does that open you up to get that disorder again? And I wasn’t aware that you could give out disorder cards without the use of medication cards
You can't get that disorder again if you're already treating it. And you can only give a disorder to a person who is taking medicine that has that disorder as a side effect.
In order to win you need to clear your 4 ailments that being said if you have tremors and you can’t use therapy to get rid of it how can you get rid of it/win?
Use the drug that treats Tremors 🙂
I have a copy on the way. I've never heard of this game, but I had to get it the first video I saw.
Does the episode card still take effect if the disorder has a drug on it?
No the drug prevents an episode
@@MadChild628 thanks, the rule book didn't say
I have never heard of this game till today, and now I really need it. Looks very underrated.
I need to pick this game up, seems underrated to me.
I want this
Love these people and their awesome game!! So fun to play.
Bruh this Game Could hit the spot 😂😂😂😂
What's the song/beat?
Where can I get this game. I'm in Canada 😭
Local game stores have been known to carry it, but we are looking into ways to properly distribute in Canada.
I'm afraid that the current social media craze is to make up stuff in the head, convince lots of gullible people they have been lied to because the authorities cannot disprove the made up stuff. If everything we can't prove was a sinister conspiracy, then this must include the existence of God. Who can prove categorically that he exists? Result... all religions are conspiracy theories; lies told to us by the ruling authorities in order to hide the truth - humans are doomed to failure.
where i buy this at?
Found mine at Barnes and noble. It’s so fun and the art is beautiful.
Hobby Lobby, just in case you haven’t gotten it. You had a whole year so I’m guessing you did lol. 😅
Back this on Kickstarter! www.kickstarter.com/projects/pillboxgames/mud-a-political-card-game?ref=creator_nav
This looks like a pretty interesting game with lots of 'friendly' anger 😅
Seems like once you have no cards you are screwed for the rest of the game.
You always draw 2, and discard pile gets shuffled
Can non-backers get the game (in the future?)
Yes, I bought it, but it’s expensive for just being a card game
great concept
