I just got the game maybe 2 1/2 weeks ago and I think the smartest thing is just to make a small raft. Then you can put a drying food rack on there, a water collector, a bed, stick collectors, bone collectors, arrow holders, etc. I personally have all those things plus a big shelf, a fire, skull lights, and a stick marker (which I probably don’t need because the bed has a bed symbol is basically a stick marker. I basically have everything I need and can sleep anytime that I need to and my defense is water .

I guess i got balls of steel. Day 60 and my base is tiny. I have a couple traps but not many. I use my bow and try and headshot the cannibals . I stay by a campsite that has arrows. Im by a tall stand thing too that has rope you can climb up to the top. If it gets really dicey, i just climb that and bow them from above. They cant reach me of destroy it. After watching this im gonna start on defenses though.

I want them to bring it back it was my favorite cause no mags

How effective is stealth armor for being stealthy? is it pointless or do they actually not see you & you can maneuver unbothered?

So the demand for the villagers. Is that a month or a day? It says /1d but I swear the numbers aren’t adding up after a day.

I think the choice not to use poison arrows is a good judgment. The benefit is hardly worth the extra effort of picking poisonous berries and mushrooms. I would rather stay clear of it all, and probably get some decent arrows.

On effigies: Why would you spend time dismembering enemies, only to make consumable effigies with an unreliable effect? A disgusting project in itself. I never made one, and I am never going to.

Watching because I decided to give Aska a little more time in the oven before I continue with it, but I love the genre. The one thing that was great with Aska though was that pulse for locating interactable items in the world. Night or day...especially at night, lol. Anything like that in MD?

I started playing this with my wife last night. We spent about 2 days looking for a place to set up camp away from cannibals but not too far that its inconvenient to get resources. Eventually she said "lets just build here. Everywhere has cannibals" We set up on a cliffside not far from a beach with 2 respawning turtles which are great food. Turns out the biggest cannibal camp is a 20-second sprint west of our base 😅

Nice guide but I just played like 2 minutes and got the first shelter up and 2 cannibals came and got me lol

1) Build cell buildings they house a lot of people 2) Make sure you connect roads between sectors 😂 3) Sector trust buildings are hell important early on 4) R for rotation 5) Dont unfreeze picked up colonists too soon 6) melting ice unlocks powerful food structures 7) in Science research options have levels each 😂
