This song is from the P4G32 game files; to my understanding, it was not in the original Vita release. It is also no longer in P4G64's files. I have no idea when it was intended to play but I'm guessing it would've played in the Hollow Forest or around that time. The original mod author has temporarily trashed it to my understanding; you can still download it through P4G CEP (Community Enhancement Pack) however.

This mod should be compatible with all languages as it doesn't edit any text files. Better language support for other mods is something that is being worked on, so you can expect to see that in the future
@@_ace_defective_ I think it's weird, but when I play it in Spanish the options menu appears in English and crashes, and then the areas where the game changes, as at the beginning of the game, as in the dream of the protagonist, the texts appear in English.

I might just be bad but on merciless this game is quite hard, i've died on a lot of the tartarus bosses once and only beat the first full moon boss on my second try with a literal 1 second to spare, this game is quite hard imo ( though maybe it gets easier or something, haven't even gotten fuuka yet)
The game does get so, so much easier after that first full moon operation - I actually think the first full moon operation in P3R is pretty nicely balanced compared to the rest of the game.
@@_ace_defective_ that's honestly very sad, i found the difficulty of the that first part very enjoyable so it's a shame it doesn't return, i kinda reminded me of when i played smt v, because if you start to slack off and just attack or something like that, the enemies can crit you and end your life very easily
Thank you for the great work, it's great to know that there are people who weigh the same, unfortunately I don't believe there is a mod that can make the menu and the save menu the same as the original.

As a PlayStation user who isn’t allowed to mod the PS5, I’m sad
i thought this was gonna bring back p5 "igor" but im much more entertained with this
as someone who played the vanilla persona 4 before golden released on pc (but it was announced while i was in the rise dungeon lmao) the fog and color really made the atmsophere of the game and made it more mysterious. P4G was too saturated and bright and removed the fog from the original game making the game SOULLESS. So from the bottom of my heart i thank you very much for this ambitious mod dedicated to bringing back the SOUL of persona 4 back in golden.
Can i hope for the mod to be released before the new year?

Asides from the BGM, the atmosphere truly impact the whole gameplay experience. Thanks for adding the fog! I think you also need to add a litte blur and noise. I usually used that trick to make my art feels more alive. It is not truly noticable for some people, but it does impact the whole experience without them realizing. I learned that trick in a study of realistic CGI in a horror movie.
@@whitecrow20XX For clarification, this is a mod, not a video edit or reshade or anything like that. Adding additional blur/noise on top of the existing effects would be difficult (and it wouldn't look very good in practical gameplay).
I hope it has that Slight Deep Mirroring effect under the U.I of the Weather/Date thing like the PS2 Had

@@troev To be fair, the mod is available for both the Steam version and the PSP version. You could always just use PPSSPP and emulate it

@@oriongear2499 Not at this time. I was toying with the idea of reducing the contrast in line with the other dungeons, and maybe trying to give it a P4 style pass in the future, but that's a later problem...

honestly I want to see a comparison between this and the PS2 original as Yukiko's castle seems a bit off but that might be because the render distance fog is still black instead of the original white it was on the PS2.
@@WednesdayMan The fadeout fog for the stairs and stuff is black, yeah. We were trying for some time to figure out how to fix it, but had no luck. Same with the field for normal battles. This is documented in the fog restoration wiki as a limitation, not much we can do about it right now I don't think :(
