Bob and Helmut were my favorites and it warmed my heart that they were together. With or without this, psychonauts 2 is a 10/10 game

On my experience ,theres (plurials because theres lots of « left »lile BLM for the first boss ,the progressiv inclusivity acts of the pnj…) indeniable politicaly input .I needed to take one break of one week after the first boss to continue ,i felt the message ,subtily ,and sometimes not ,the propagandas .I give the game a chance ,which lost to the gay sequence .Its a shame because it has a true concept ,u like it ,and then it fall in deception because progressiv spirit start to merge ,and soon .I repeat it ,its shamefull ,the player payed he put down his natural awareness aside for enjoying what he payed for ,a creation free from any extern will ,he trus the editors respect the deal .Doing ideology is a stab and disrespect 🫤😬

A lot of (deserved) praise for Catherine O'Hara's work in this scene, but let's not overlook how amazing Emily Hampshire is. The naked fear before she sings when talking to Moira, and then her face when Moira tells her how much she admires her. And her job during the song is great - the nervousness giving way to more confidence and the way she brings it home. I get emotional every time I watch it (which is often!) Oh, and David saying 'That's my friend!' is one of my favorite lines in the whole series. : ^)

The real genius of Schitt's Creek - both the writing and the acting across the board - is how it made us love and root for characters who didn't seem at first to have any redeemable qualities. And every so often, you'd get a firm, "Here's WHY you love them" sort of reminder. This "pep talk" scene was definitely one of those reminders for Moira. She is and will remain one of my favorite characters ever created for television <3

I got so teary-eyed at this part. Genuine love at its finest.

This is one of the few relationships in media that made me feel something. Not one of the few *gay* relationships, (romantic)relationships in general. I'm not even gay.

As a performer, there ARE those numbers and scenes that even you yourself surprise even yourself. My favorite part is when she holds her last note and gasps when she comes back to reality like, "wow. I did that". I lived that moment as well. I love her expression of shock and the applause. 😍

This is the best non comedic moment in the show!

as a queer person this moment almost drove me to tears, its the only happy moment in bobs life that we actually get a glimpse of, its basically a core memory. and as much as i also appreciate being loud and proud as a celebration of pride and liberation and whatnot, i also love representation like this- its simple, a whisper almost, but integral to their characters nonetheless. its beautiful, and so is this whole level, fuck even the whole game. its a masterpiece.

One of my favorite scenes of the entire show ❤️

Moira appears superficial and empty with her dramatic outbursts and big ego. But she has so much substance underneath the pomp, and the moments when she lets that shine through are some of the most touching in the show (this one, showing up for Alexis’s graduation, and teaching the “Crows” director a lesson).

Wokeness shoved into a game just to check that box. Added nothing to the story and completely irrelevant. Next it will be Doom guy likes the D and Mario's in the closet. At least it was free on Gamepass.

Specifically looked up this scene because it moved me to tears when I first saw it. I love Moira and Stevie’s growth and friendship in this show!

Sometimes with some of the dialogue of certain characters (Twyla) it can be easy to overlook how amazing the script of this show is.

First time I actually cried while watching this show. So incredibly happy for Stevie

psychonauts 3 about to be "this child truly loves this grown man, here is why they should phuck"

One great moment was when Helmut returns in "Nick's" body but refuses a kiss with bob, it shows respect to the body he's borrowing and realises the idea of consent to someone who can't answer right then. This was around the same time of Wonder Woman 84, which had a similar situation, only they took the approach to use the body how they wished.

Psychonauts 2 has the perfect example of true inclusion, it’s just a natural thing in the game, it doesn’t feel forced, and they don’t base the whole character on his preferences

This is the kind of thing that I wish we see more, not just in games but in other form of media such as comic, books and tv shows

i love how this game just completely subverted the very common tropes when it comes to representation. they make a lot of the het relationships very vague and tease us sometimes (sasha and milla is one i think) and then full on make the only established relationship WHILE unburying your gays with helmut and bob. the writers did such a good job with this and the entire game in general
