I built a CNC machine to move my plasma torch. I used the MKS DLC 32 version 2.1 card. Unfortunately the online controller and the remote app don't offer z-axis control. This makes it very difficult to zero the z-axis before initiating a cut. I have to connect to a laptop and launch Open Builds Controller just to zero the z-axis. Then unplug and switch over to the remote app. Running the G-Code off the card is the only way I can operate the machine without getting interference from the plasma cutter. If I try to run open builds to do the cut it will corrupt the signals and the machine will stop after about 1 minute into the project. Why doesn't Makerbase offer z-axis control in their software? They offer x y and z on the control board so why not on the software?

However, Endurances laser should make a diode laser module with fixed focus ......because it is not always easy to find focus,manually....and one gets discouraged after a while.

Imagine this at scale with inertial dampening tech and you have Black Budget Sekret Machines!

I miss the 'how to' part, you don't teach anything at all. And the screws that you use to fix the legs to the base plate are anything but M3. M3 is a metric thread. The screws in your video are some plastic screws, just junk. Back to the lab!

Awesome! I didn't know we can engrave white on black PLA. What strength laser would you recommend? I see yours is 30 watts but your settings on the right are at 20%, that turns out to 6 watts. Can a 10 watt machine do the job? Or would it be over-worked and/or waste electricity? (yes, this is day #1 of research into PLA engraving :) )

If on snth its written that 405, means it doesn't have sensitivity in another ranges😂😂😂. You just need to use 405 nm 500mw cheap laser module to have success

Just be sure to wash your hands really well after, or wear nitryl gloves next time, 405nm resin is a pretty strong skin irritant, and a sensitizer…. So each time your skin is exposed to it, the reaction us faster and worse

You can think about a grate, it keeps bed out of laser focus. I believe its height should depends on laser power. I used one with about 16-18mm while I cut a cardboard, but my laser's optical power I think nearby 4.5-5W, and therefore, the bed still clean.

Hi i dont have an Endurance laser but im havin issues using LaserGBRL, if i change the Image size sometimes i just see lines of the whole Picture instead of the loaded Picture itself. If i scale it up it works but i want a small Picture, any advice would be helpful.
