I need this radio

It’s a fine little radio, especially for the price ‼️. I’ve been testing mine over the past couple days. 📻🙂

Mine had horrible sound on FM.

My first S350 was so bad that I got rid of it. The drift was horrible. I bought a second one that wasn't quite as bad, but still not usable. I'm looking at Tecsun, but they are expensive.

Looks interesting. Where can I find a supplier?

I've had this radio since November of 2023 (Black Friday sale on Amazon for under $40) , and it's definitely a keeper. When I got mine it had firmware version 2.8. Since then I've updated it to 2.9 and now 3.0. The new version is loaded onto the memory card and the radio updates from there. The firmware added new functionality. You didn't mention Bluetooth, which it has. It can also work as a USB speaker for a computer. There is both a flashlight and a reading light -- caution, that flashlight is extremely bright. You said that the telescopic antenna was 16 inches, but it's 23 1/2 inches, a good bit longer than, for example, a Tecsun PL-330. FM performance is very good, and shortwave is good too. Shortwave was just weak the last couple of days.

The best little radio I ever had. Loved it! Too bad they don't make original anymore.

No Air band and uses AA Batteries . Bought mine for f.M while walking, Good F.M. ,rugged , DspTuning on AM cuts out weak stations, Different bandwidths useful for known weak stations. Thanks for video!

Thanks for video . I,ve owned several and keep giving them away . As of today 7/25 /24 there are brand newKaito wrx 911s being sold with faded ,barely legible dial screens, so be careful when you buy .

How do you get the drivers/firmware for these. Sdrplay and api dont work

Two Comments.. I was hoping you would show us the Manual for this scanner. I just bought this radio on Ebay and I don’t know if it is coming with a manual. Next thing: You never handle the antenna plug that inserts in the back because of the oils on your skin. You should always use a Q tip with Windex or alcohol to clean. That would help with the “flopping around” of the antenna. I had this radio for years and years in the kitchen of my house connected to a super antenna on my roof. To me - it was the greatest scanner ever - alongside the Bearcat 210 - which I also own..

Coolest thing I ever had as a kid! So many great AM stations back in those days. WABC ''77" in New York with the legendary Dan Ingram .... Philly's powerhouse "Famous 56" WFIL.... and our local rivals, WAEB in Allentown and our hometown choice, "The Big X" WEEX 1230 AM in Easton PA. FM Top 40 stations were rare in the early 70s. Most FM stations in those days were classical or "AOR" - album-oriented rock - formats.

They are always adding firmware mod updates on these all depends on what u like.. Chirp sometimes don't recognize the firmware mods tho .. May be best to get 2 keep one stock use other one for experiments

I have one hacked firmware it does ssb and cb and more.. Has bandwidth adjustments for AM airband too..

Does anyone know if there were improvement changes to this NOAA version over the older simple AM-FM 604 version? I have read there were but can't find that now. I love this radio, the one I purchased 1.5 yrs ago is near perfect. I recently bought another but sent if back after a week because the tuning accuracy was not as accurate and it seemed to pop and crackle more than my first unit. I ask for a replacement as I hope I get one more like the first I have. Nice simple radio, that works. PS: If I had not had one already and could compare them I never would have returned the second for a replacement.

How do I turn it on?

I have the 1 and 3. The 1 is better sounding but I use the 3 daily. Both are great radios. Looking for a 2 to fill my collection. It's actually called Superadio not Superradio.
