I remember these escalators having different handrails on them. These handrails were small segments that were one color, then after a few feet, a segment of a different color for a few inches, then back to the original color.

Very good. Several of the Escalators were shut off during my February visit including the one alongside the fountain near the Foot locker store.

If you're referring to that guide, there are definitely more than 3. To my knowledge all the LRT stations w/ escalators here have 9700s (6 stations). But if you count that as 1 then I guess that's fair. There's probably still more though.
