I recently took over my fathers 1965 Chris-Craft Cavalier and am now facing a couple of issues. If your time allows it would be really appreciated if we could get in touch about it. Can you suggest a good chris craft experience engine shop in PA or OH ? I have a 1965 283 CCorsair that was not winterized properly and now has maifold damage.

I assume it is an old Allison aircraft engine.

I thought the crank snout had to be drilled to meet the first main bearing oil passage in order to lube the transmission? At least, that's what I recall from reading my '62 CC SkiBoat engine book...

Hello, I am a model maker and I make the model of the special Riva Aquarama, at 1/6th scale I have already drawn all my hardware because there are no plans to my knowledge. Now I will try to draw the V8 engines. Also I wanted to know if you had plans, these engines so that I can make them in 3D printing or any other information that could help me move forward in this project. What a sweet sound !!!

Let me emphasize one thing that was never mentioned. I have a 350 CC Engine in my boat. The original engine that was in the boat had steel freezeout plugs. Do yourself a favor, which is not expensive, and it will save you a headache later on. Please replace the freezeout plugs with brass ones if the boat is to be used in saltwater. It is not expensive, and it’s a great improvement.
