    • @CorvusAlyse
      @CorvusAlyse Před 21 dnem

      It’s a different kind of signal. As it travels, it leaves tiny transmitters in different places (I can’t remember how many light years they are supposed to be away from each other), and then sends packets of encrypted information back to earth that basically bounces from one to the other all the way back to earth. It’s not like it’s instant. And the packets are tiny, so they have to be unpacked and then converted into something that we can understand.

    Shit video full of faulty information and contrived sensationalism. 1. Voyager has not "turned back". 2. The discoveries thus far have been anything but "terrifying". 3. Voyager has not left the solar system. It passed beyond the heliosphere in 2012. This is not the end of the solar system. The Oort Cloud (made up of millions or trillions of icy, comet-like objects) is still part of the solar system and it will take about 300 years to reach the inner boundary of the Oort Cloud and probably another 30,000 years to exit the far side.

    "Rolling a six-sided die", more like rolling a 6 trillion sided die, yes, still possible, but far, far more unlikely. Also, real science avoids the abstract theories of the one, or few. It's OK to have new ideas, but it must undergo whatever mathematical backing, and/or testing. It must also fall within the rules of excepted science that has been proven correct many times over.

    I know nothing of that level of science, but perhaps the JWT was viewing a reflection on the black hole in some way? Or perhaps even, viewing the inside of a black hole is like looking back in time, and the JWT is viewing a slice of time from “whenever”. Much like when you cut down a tree and are looking at that “slice” of tree and its rings telling you age.

    • @mikeball1397
      @mikeball1397 Před 28 dny

      The James Webb Space Telescope does not detect the light from galaxies inside black holes. Instead, it is able to detect galaxies and other objects that are located behind or near black holes by capturing their infrared radiation. This radiation can pass through the black hole's event horizon and be detected by the telescope. Additionally, the telescope can also observe the effects of black holes on their surrounding environment, such as the distortion of light and gravitational lensing, which can provide valuable information about the presence and behavior of black holes.

    • @mikeball1397
      @mikeball1397 Před 28 dny

      @@aboynamedsue6912 sort of missed phrased we are seeing them inside but we are not seeing light as such which is a spectrum of photo radiation but we see hawking radiation or rather a band width of infra red radiation that webb can interpertate and thus show us these images

    • @mikeball1397
      @mikeball1397 Před 28 dny

      @@aboynamedsue6912 nearly all the pictures we actually see we wouldn’t be able to see through the telescope its self and from our own eyes we are too limited, most of what we see is very accurate interpretation of what can be detected much like más spectroscopy. To be fair when i read your question I thought immediately I know the answer but then got immediately confused between infra red light and actual photons and had to double check. Its said that light has no mass and that things travelling at the speed of light gain infinite mass but then why does light get caught it has no mass and i realised the dumbest physicist is so much smarter than me 🤣🤣🤣 (the reason light cant escape is the light caught in the accretion disk will never escape its fall into the black hole and the light already falling into the black hole will keep falling until its completely crushed)
