I need the rubber grommet that the fuel line goes through in the body of the fuel tank. I cannot find a part number or dimensions of the grommet. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Mine is polished rebuilt all new bearings seals 45 cc rebuilt 6 years a go best saw I ever rebuilt power from hell Riley recommended this saw to port n polish spent 150.00 paid $ 5 .00 at garage sale at 49cc this is light n a powerhouse my top saw!!!!!

No prep work shown so, where is the value?

You didn’t show any of the prep work required for pressure and vacuum testing so I don’t know how much value this video would be for someone who wants to learn how to do it

I own 3 of these, and 2 of them have the same problem, fuel is coming to the cylinder, as it's supposed to do, and the coil does spark, but the saws won't start, and eventually get drowned after several pulls, I can't understand why, because the plugs are brand new and coils seems okay...

I like how easy it is to get the carb off these. The one I inherited has 76 Psi compression and won't start unless I dump a little motor oil in the cylinder to boost compression. When the oil is gone it quits. So gonna need the cylinder rebuild kit.

I have inherited one of these from my inlaws! It had sat under an open outdoor shed for years and years. The chain was froze solid. So I brought it home and soaked the chain down in transmission fluid and let it set 1.5 months before fooling with it just thinking I would get it going one day,. It took a whole lot more effort than that to get the chain freed up though later. It had a missing pull handle and the cord was tied to the back handle. Also the throttle and choke were froze in place. The tank was dry with lots of corrosion inside. The filter in the tank was bad and the tank grommet hose broke the instant I tried fishing it out. So now I have it all freed up, carb and tank clean, new tank grommet and filter with good fuel and it still won't start. The plug fires hot enough to ignite the gas from the cylinder when taking it out and putting it in the boot to check fire. But its still has never made one attempt to crank. I think I'll pick up a plug today just in case this one Is fouled.

I need a adapter plate to block the intake on a 372. The rubber between the carb and boot never seals bc as you tighten it down it actually spreads the top of the boot away from the carb. Do you have a part number or something?

Oh my goodness that looked to easy. I fought tooth and nail the last time I tackled one of these. I have a 460 rancher that wants to kick over but it will not. I just purchased a new carb and fixing to install it this morning. I only wish that you had the camera over the saw instead of that far away view. Do you have any other videos that I can get a better view...thanks

I have an 090. These videos do the saws no justice. You need to see and hear those saws run in person to truly appreciate them. You know how people can listen to motorbikes run and immediately pick out the Suzuki Hayabusa? That’s the same with an 090.

I used to race go karts we used modified car starters and alcohol for fuel used to go maybe 90 mph arround a race track and ihave 2 940 mc chainsaws one has a sticker on it saying its a championship go kart engine from the factory

Good info thank you, love my 2100XP, and I custom blend my own bar oil. As for gas mix I use Klotz with techniplate, mostly for nostalgia. Takes me back to the 70s, dad had a Margay panther X with a fully built 101 Mac on it, thing had 2 Tillotson carbs 😂 😂 😂 also takes me back to my 2 stroke dirt bike days as a kid growing up in the 70's and 80's

Would you happen to have a link to order a rebuild kit for the 041?? Mine won’t start.. cleaned the carb and has good spark so had a friend check compression and it’s low..

So what should I do with a saw that was submerged but not running. I pulled the exhaust got about a pint of water from it. But the piston is high enough to block most the water ingress. The intake side looks like water may have gotten under the piston. I've tried to dump and q tip what I can. Should I break the whole cylinder apart? Or should I be alright to put it back together. And hope to evap the rest of the water?

I have had one of these 22 years now great little saw, I have used several chains and wore out a bar. I have changed the carburetor out and that is the only thing I have done. These saws ,in my opinion are great buys and great tools.
