Old silver found on this 1700's property!!
We dug that same "Will Cleaver Extra Rich" button, I believe I read he was a tailor from London early 1800's. Cool to see someone else dig one.
@@masonmercmetaldetecting That's awesome! I don't really pay attention to back marks all that often unless it's a really nice button usually. That one just happened to catch my eye lol
That's awesome! A bonus episode and we get to see Sarah out digging with you! Man you guys were slaying buttons! Keep up the great work you two!
@@masonmercmetaldetecting lol yeah she made a rare appearance that day. I honestly couldn't believe how many buttons were there...it was one of those sites that you couldn't miss if you knew the area, but barely showed up on lidar.
Some nice buttons and where there are buttons there are coins to be saved.
@@DanimalDigs that's usually the case, I'll be back there in the future to see if I can find anything else that was missed
What a ton of buttons, wow!!!❤
@@cynthiaswearingen1037 yeah there was a ton of em left there lol
I would dig buttons all day .... love finding them. You definitely cleaned up on the buttons! Some really nice ones too. Great detecting!
@@christophermichaud7187 they are my favorite things to dig lol.Thank you
Every indicator that you were detecting Virgin ground! How awesome is that!? So many amazing finds from lead/pewter buttons to colonial coppers to amazing foot hold trap! I have always wanted to find an old trap! I found that same bank token from Canada!
@@masonmercmetaldetecting agreed, those types of spots don't come up too often anymore. Yeah I was really pleased with the bank token, I've only found maybe two of those ever. This one is by far the nicest (one one side atleast😆)
let's go let's go treasure and adventure ✌👵
I dont think that place was ever detected, guys. Awesome history saved!❤
@@cynthiaswearingen1037 I'd have to agree, the fact that it was mostly caved in helped hide it from everyone else most likely. Even on lidar it doesn't really resemble much of a cellar hole
Some awesome pieces of history. That's a good day of detecting.
@@christophermichaud7187 it was definitely a cool spot, and I think it was untouched before we found it.
@@Dirty-digs those are the best spots!😁 untoched....
Love collaboration videos. This video makes me miss hunting in New Hampshire. Great Job 🎉

Wow what a awesome hunt. Great to see all the super old relics come out of the ground and all coins as well. Great co-lab hunt with Mason Merc. New to your channel. All the best John

Thank you for the kind words and the support for my channel.
Nice video man how are you liking your accupoint I have one I think it’s great
@@mattbraley534 hey bud! Thanks for supporting the new channel! I love the accupoint so far. It's built a lot better than most of the others I've used and has the ferrous and non ferrous tone option...which has been a nice addition
All good hunts! Buttons and more buttons! Always a good find
Lol yeah I find a lot of buttons, good thing they're one of my favorite things to dig.

@@somersetsearchers thanksbfir the support! Being around gravestones and cemeteries is one of the things that everyone in this hobby should take seriously, and avoid out of respect if nothing else.
Wow that second cellar hole in all those mint leaves is beautiful! Great job pulling all those buttons out of pounded sites! That’s a success in my book any day! Your iron false looked like a wick advancer for an old oil lamp. Geez you have been slamming those 2 cent pieces! Congrats to Shawn on the Seated Dime! Artillery buttons are absolutely epic!
@@masonmercmetaldetecting yeah it was like a picture perfect scene at that spot. Thanks, I def got lucky that the others that came before me left a few things for us to find lol
Awesome finds, that 2 cent piece is a great find!❤
@@cynthiaswearingen1037 thank you! Your support is very appreciated!
Great finds. I still need to find a two cent piece. Thanks for sharing.

@@ohdannyboyjustadiggin thanks! Yeah we got a few really nice pulls out of those spots
Can you share some details about the most extraordinary coin or relic you found at the tavern, and did they reveal any intriguing stories about the history of the place? Are you on Facebook or Instagram? I'd love to connect and hear more about your experiences and insights! Let's keep in touch!
@@fahimreza01 that question is kind of a catch 22. My favorite items was either the police button or the MIT medal. But the sheer diversity of the finds tell the most about the tavern. People from all walks of life and all over the area came there to have a few drinks and have a good time. Some items we from the families who owned the property throughout its life and some were from the patrons that visited there.
Nice sharing❤❤❤❤❤

Lighters are cool to find! Mason is a big help out there! Lot' of nice finds, but coins are always a treat!
@@conniebarnes1824 yeah my personal favorite was that Boston police button. It turns out that it was a civil war era button. Pretty neat. Or that medal from MIT, That's pretty rare to find I'm sure
@@Dirty-digs absolutely, all great finds! Love history of items!
