I personally prefer the texture and juiciness of the green ones. The red ones may be sweeter but I didn’t like the texture and was definitely not as juicy as the green variety.

They don’t have to flap their wings to make that obnoxious sound.

That's a mud dauber! They are a species of wasp that builds nests out of mud or dirt, hence the name. just like any wasp, they have a stinger, so be careful around them. However they don't usually sting unless threatened
