@@nadi2054 The infrastructure hasn’t been able to grow with the population growth, but it has at least been addressed. My best suggestion is to work on getting a work permit or residency prior to trying to get a cart permit. When you apply they’ll ask you for a myriad of items to submit. One of our other videos talks about that. Please also remember you are a foreigner if you don’t have a legal status here. There aren’t many countries that actually would give you the right to own a vehicle if you don’t have a status.

Thanks for your comment and great question! To park your boat at your home, we have a recommended boat size. However, there is not enough space for a boat lift or large boats. If your boat is larger than the recommended size, you can park it on the pier on a first come first serve basis. When you are not in country, it'll need to be kept at the marina or elsewhere. The HOA does not want to be responsible for your boat in the event of a storm or whatnot. Hope this helps :)

It depends entirely on what you want to build and the size of your off-grid utilities. There are cottage packages that start at $140k US and go up from there for larger homes, but it really depends on what you want to build. You can indeed use a trust. We tend to see the company route more commonly used, and then the trust will own the company that owns the property, but you can do a trust outright too.

Yes you can. Rain water cisterns tend to be the most common, but wells are possible too.

It takes about 40-45 minutes via golf cart. The road pavement only goes up to Secret Beach (about 20 minutes from the bridge) and then another 20-25 minutes after the Secret Beach turn-off . It is considered a business, so you need to have someone to run/operate the business. That person is either a licensed property manager or you as the owner. If it is you, and you’re a foreigner, you need to get a work permit.
