These cars are great. People who never owned them talk crap but in reality they drive and are better quality than all the cars they ever drove. So I can see why bmw still going. Their better than all these cars brands. Best handling car on highway.
Sadly these Cars a high maintenance so when you don't maintain it well, you get problems.

That’s valve cover the pcv in the valve cover is messed up and throws oil out the exhaust
no, it’s the valve stem seals
You both could be right they both cause the same problem
Bad valves or piston rings
Bad valve seals. It's not pcv. Pcv is zero.mine is doing samething. Blue smoke at idle and high oil consumption. I top off 1 liter every week.
i think thats caused by piston rings!

Yup hate that sound. Startup is embarrassing till that pump gets oil
Think of it as the monster’s howl as it gets shoved back into the engine.
@@Wha_SAAB sounds like a pump starving for oil to me.. I mean don’t get me wrong there are amazing things to the E55 but this pump and the rough engagement of the SC pulley is not two of them.

@@67vala it's the oil pump gears... the way they are designed/cut... noting to worry about, all M112/M113 oil pumps sound like this !
@@MichalZ78 Thank you Michal, i was little bit scared and thought that O-ring on pump could be bad
@@67vala well, the O-ring from the scavenger rail that goes to the other end of the oil pan can still be hard, but normally you don't hear it when it sucks air... but this whining noise is from the oil gears nothing to worry there. XFX Motorsport from Canada has a video on that and also he developed a proper gear set as an upgrade... just search for it!

It seems to be know problem for W204 body type , I pulled the cluster and got the part number, purchased one with exact same part number off ebay for $80 dollars and had a guy who did a "mileage correction" on the new cluster, he took some parts out from my old cluster which stores the mileage memory and put it to new one, otherwise without doing that the new cluster was showing ------ , hope you find my reply useful.
