how long have you been living in Japan and whats your honest opinion on it so far?
@@dlin22 I’ve been here for 11 years now. I have a wife and kid here and speak the language so at this point it feels like home. It’s a beautiful country that I’ve always appreciated but it’s not a vacation either so I don’t see the country with the same rose colored glasses a lot of tourists do when they come here. Japan is not a perfect country and although I feel many Japanese people are very welcoming to foreigners I felt like somewhat of an outsider. That sort of got easier as my Japanese got better and during Covid I traveled around the country when the borders were closed to international tourists and thought it was one of the most meaningful times in my life. I miss the US sometimes and would like to go back at some point to be closer to family, even if it’s not permanent. I think your video portrays the US as being dull. But the grass is always greener on the other side, maybe? New York is a very charming city with so much to offer and my Japanese friends and family are happy to travel there and experience it even with the yen being so weak now.

What were the most memorable experiences or places you visited during your trip, and how did Singapore compare to other destinations you've explored solo? Thanks for sharing your journey with us!
Singapore is definitely in my top 5. It’s my first solo travel experience and I loved it. But I wouldn’t know how to compare the solo travel experience aspect to other countries as of yet. Will lyk as I travel more. In terms of the favorite memory, everyday was an adventure as you can tell from each of the episodes. Singapore has so much to do, sightsee, eat, explore that I really can’t pick one specific thing. It wouldn’t do justice to all the amazing places I’ve visited nor the places I haven’t got a chance to see yet. So I can give u a better answer on my next Singapore trip soon!
Ps. If you have a personal favorite place/food etc that you recommend I’d love to hear it so I can be more prepare on the next adventure
