Sadly not :( Bus Simulator 18’s entire mod lineup is integrated into Steam itself. There could be a way to inject it directly into the files if you find a trustable website maybe if that can be done, but I haven’t tried to do it, so I couldn’t say.

On PC, you simply download mods from mod.io in this iteration (BS21), and you can do it in-game with the administration and everything integrated into the game. Not sure the same can be done on PS4, as I do not own the game on a console.

Relatively, I would say. In this game, you create a user via the game on mod.io, and simply pull the mods down from the website directly ingame - og via a browser, with the same webpage destination. It's a bit more consistent than Bus Simulator 18 were, albeit it not being on the Steam Workshop. There's still mods however not working as intended, and there are no custom maps in Bus Simulator 21. There are also only 6 buses (I think) avaliable at the moment. It's hard to imagine more being made, seeing as this is soon a 3 year old game. It could look like that Astragon has been too slow with it.

Sorry for the late answer, but as far as I know it is indeed possible to get this on Playstation as of right now. Dunno about the mod support though.

Via Mod.io, the game's official mod site. Unfortunately it seems quite dead as of late, maybe because of the bugs ingame. But you can collect it from in there at least.

Timetables are a new thing in BS21, and came with the Next Stop update that has since come out. Before that, there wasn't a time table system in the game, aside from making intervals. Now when doing intervals, it does register times as well. That might be why you're not seeing it.

As of this current time, I don’t know. An update with mirrors bugged the mod bus mirrors out, and while the newest update claimed these errors fixed, the issue is still there ingame. I would imagine it requires work on the mod again to make it work, but the tools for it weren’t there - dunno if Astragon put them in or not. I miss my IVECO Crossway with custom sound, so I am just as bummed 😢

I see. I'm used to multiple doors and all that, as is in Europe (or Denmark, more specifically). So seeing a one-door bus makes me think it's pretty ineffective, but I of course haven't got any direct experience with it.

I would imagine they have put more work into the ps4 version in terms of pedestians and stuff like that, since it can be harder to patch that up than on PC. However, the downside of the PS version is probably that mod.io isn't accessible. So idk 😅

Agreed. I mean, somewhat. The steering wheel is a bit unresponsive at times, and when I borrowed a friend's wheel, it responded like crap too. But yeah the physics on it's own, is in some spots better than BS21. But it's not that BS21 is a shit game on it's own, there's just a lot of bugs that seem too tall a task for the developers to fix. Understandably so, since it isn't the same engine they are using - and engines take time to learn, like it or not.

Indeed. I can’t play with the official Crossway LE, because it’s sound is wrong. It bugs the living shit out of me. So the modders saved this one.

Ingame, you can enable the mod.io system and allow subscriptions from the site. In there, there’s currently 5 bus models including this one, with a number of custom decals as well as paint jobs etc.

@@tiesfelesesk Go into the Mod Manager option ingame, and enable the mod.io connection. You will be asked to create an account - once you've done that and the connection is made, you can download mods from the site (subscribe to mods that is), which will appear after a restart of the game, similar to how the Steam Workshop worked in Bus Simulator 18. You can actively per map afterwards decide which mods works and doesn't work.

Fair enough, I'll admit I'm not the best at driving. I'm trying though. Also sometimes, there are bugs that require me to do some... Detouring, I guess you could call it. It's not as easy as it looks - but there's no excuse for the direct collisions I make sometimes.
