Well most of the ride we spent INSIDE, not outside usually unless you tie someone on the bonnet. Outside is for showing off to other people. I had one, so I know. (But o man how I got excited by lying on the front fenders for repairs)

Very clean 1965 Chevrolet Corsa Convertible 180 Turbo. There are a few items that are missing, & incorrect for this model year . All the wheel well trim is missing around all 4 wheels, & the wire wheel covers are incorrect for a 65; They should have 3 prong spinners on them, & the ones that are on this car are for a 67,68, or a 69. The boot cover & the missing Corsa emblem as well as all the wheel well trim Clark's Corvair carries, & you can get thru the Corvair Ranch as well. It wouldn't take much to bring this Corvair Corsa to the next level. Thanks for the video. They are fun automobiles; I own a 65 Corsa Turbo 180 Coupe as well.

Given that these cars are only driven slowly in good weather, I'd go for cross-ply tires for an authentic original driving experience. I hope the interior was not replaced. You cannot recreate that old leather smell of an original interior. Beautiful car.

Postwar Morgans seem to me to be the motoring equivalent of a mock Tudor house - a sort of recuctive "ye olde England" idea of a traditional sports car which mostly appeals to Americans.

Thanks very much for making this video. It would be good to get a comparison with the Sunbeam Talbot convertible, which appears to be bigger than the Alpine.

My father blew an engine up in a Sunbeam Alpine, just after I was born. It was a rusty one even in 1963, so it was not repaired. He even admitted that he was racing a blonde woman in another cabriolet (forgot the make, sorry). The beautiful woman stopped, reversed, laughed at my father's smoking wrecked engine, waved an drove off. So the assertion that these were very strong engines, I don't share that opinion. My father was a car mechanic so I think he would have checked his oil regularly.

I had a 1952 TD and I will tell you from my experience they are not worth a shit they got a little four-cylinder engine not much better than a model A only a little man can drive one all of the petals are extremely close an average man with shoes does not have enough room to break and use the clutch you could say it is a clutch fuck. They do look very beautiful they are classy car made for a little British roads back in the 40s but they are a joke in America. They are only garage queens when taken to a car show they become trailer queens. You who are you telling about your TD I will tell you you are full of shit.

You know, I bought a '64 new and a '66 new, loved both of them. Now at almost 80 years of age, I don't think I'd be happy with a simple 4 speed. I am now addicted to MX-5's and on my 5th, it's a six speed and I love it.

I wanted an MGTC, but they are just to expensive, so I bought a cherry mint Honda Shadow Spirit motorcycle instead for 1/20th the price and got my spoked wheel fix on. A lot faster and more reliable than an MG for sure. Believe me, it's got way more chrome on it than I want to polish... Young people just can not afford to blow $40K on an old hard to find car with hard to find parts that runs and sounds and shifts like a tractor.
