私は18歳の日本人です。あなたの動画を見てこの車を買おうと思いました😊素敵な動画をありがとう
Thanks very much for the kind words! It’s a very capable car and I think you will enjoy it just as much as I do! I would love to see a photo of yours one day
that thing sings so nicely! congratulations on the build and on the car! for some reason, it really reminds me of my FN2
Loving this content, I rarely post but you can have a look on my JDM accord cl1 euro r. ❤
Thanks mate appreciate it! I will have to check it out 👍🏻
Porsche : High pitched and screaming Subaru : Low pitched and rumbling
It’s a good video looks like a pretty cool show but the reflection of the lights overhead is not so good, do you think they would’ve hung some sheets of material over those to defuse the light
Thank you! Yeah I completely agree, they could have just switched them off. I also apologise as they left the PA system on throughout the whole day which you can hear lingering in the background. Otherwise a great show!
The Volkswagen SP2 is a sports car that was developed by Volkswagen do Brasil and built from July 1972 until December 1975. It is based on the chassis of the Brazilian market Volkswagen Type 3 with a 1.7 L air-cooled H4 motor. "SP" is said to be an initialism of São Paulo where the car was built or "sports prototype". Not many in Australia.
That is so cool! Thank you for sending through that information. Do you know if they were popular in Brazil?
The car has a lot of potential the right modification it can be a taste of Japanese touring car racing.
I used to own one of these when I was in NZ. It's an amazing car. Seeing this video makes me miss mine!
The description you gave about the car right at the beginning is the reason I fell in love with Accords in the first place. They did not need to go through all this, Accords sold well enough but for some reason they went the extra mile and made a few very interesting sporty models such as the Type R which was exclusively sold in Europe and assembled in the UK and the two JDM EuroRs. Add to that the general unnecessary sportiness of the cars 4th gen onward due to things like double wish bone suspension and short gearing and you got yourself a fun every day car that looks and handles incredible on some coilovers paired with a set of nice aftermarket wheels and grippy tires
Agreed. They are pretty underrated cars which are often overlooked by people who don’t know which I like about it
Great stuff! Importing a CL7 EuroR atm but originally wanted this one. Keep it up!
Thanks mate! I reckon the Cl7R with the K20 would be a lot of fun
@@kerbweightmedia I think so too plus I think it looks somewhat timeless. Can't wait
Crazy bro! I love the vtec kick 🤙🏽
What a treat! Love every vid you put out
Believe it or not, this is actually my dream car 🤣 I've been fascinated with the CL1 Accord for quite some time now, as it's definitely one of the forgotten Honda "R" models, and heavily overshadowed by the Integra and Civic Type R that were big around this time. These won't be legal to import to the USA until next year, but I'll definitely be keeping my eyes out when the time comes. Loved every minute of this review man, great job!
Thanks mate appreciate it! It’s definitely a much rarer car than the civics and integras. It’s also significantly more refined and easier to live with 90% of the time but vtec transforms the car when you want to send it!
Do it! 😄
I want to put a subie engine in my beetle l, preferably an ej20 bc it would be cheaper to run than an ej25
Look up Iwire USA. They make harnesses for that stuff. Just had them do one for a wrx swap in my 01 Impreza rs, they did a fantastic job. Couldn’t even tell my harness was modified except the new tape and such
Looking forward to more videos, I recently bought one and not sure where to start with mods. Hoping to get some ideas from this project
Very interested in seeing more on the Euro R. I really want one myself.
Is your windshield wiper fluid filler neck starting to crack? I've purchased 2 replacement ones and they all seem to be cracking in the same place. -Fellow Torneo SiR-T owner, thanks
Love Luddenham ! ❤
subbed and waiting for mode videos with the accord. also an accord owner myself but mines a gen7 cl9 k24
Thanks for the sub!
very nice. a lightly modded k24a3 sounds almost like this
Crx after park
Cool to see someone on the beaches!
Are you on the beaches as well? Don’t see too many nice Hondas out here!
@@kerbweightmedia yeah mate. Used to be a few nice ones, maybe 10 years ago now. All the nice ones are unregistered circuit cars these days..
Very noice!
That engine note on cam...bellissimo
This is my favourite Honda Accord there's just something about that 90s look and feel it's timeless
Totally agree. There is definitely something cool about 90s cars!
Plates look sweet!
Thanks mate!
Bloody good
Keep bringing stuff out
More Accord content to come 😊
Need some more content on this project please
I just bought a 2011 accord euro R CU2 luxury,6 speed manual and very rare. Best car I’ve ever owned out of all the cars I’ve owned over 35 years.
Compare this to a CL7R. New video idea for you 👍
How much you pay for it if you mind me asking? I’m looking at a CL7R 06
$21k Aud with 96k kms on it. I was also considering cl7s however they seem to be a bit more expensive and I couldn’t find one with low ks. I would love to compare the two!
yeah I agree. kiwicarlife did a comparison check his channel. Hondas are sick. I've come full circle. I have a hsv background. @@kerbweightmedia
One of my dream Hondas! Subbed. Looking forward to more videos on it
Thanks very much for the sub! We will be putting out more videos of the cl1 soon 🤙
Congrats on this purchase, the car looks so clean! I've had my cl1 for just over 2 years now here in Sydney, although it's nowhere near the same condition. Just an fyi on the steering weight, u can actually adjust it with the selector that's on the left of the steering column. Moving it to the + will increase the weight. I find it much better than the normal and light (-) setting.
Thanks mate, glad to meet another cl1 owner in Sydney! I havnt really seen any others around. Such cool cars
Enjoy the drive 🤙🏼🤙🏼 absolutely correct
haha you’ve learnt a lot since our first meeting at Mushroom Valley. You obviously took note of everything I did to your engine back then. You just need a big hp engine now. I’ve just built a 2276 hipo for mine.
Yeah it's sure been a learning curve! But a lot of fun and watching you take the engine out was super helpful. 👍
These are great. I got a 5th gen accord with H22 swapped in and it is just a blast on the highway and bad roads. It rides like a boat, but Im fine as all my other cars are hard AF. And somehting many non-honda guys, complain about how slow the cars feel, but they expect a rocket ship out of stock 2 liter engine. Recently there was a guy complaining that the s2000 is slow and he was flooring it at 4k rpm. Also he was comparing it to a Corvette. Some car channels are complete garbage. Great summary of the CL1. I thought this came with the F20b which is about 200hp, but maybe they made h22 ones as well.
Yeah exactly you can’t compare an s2000 with a v8! Completely different car. I think they did make a jap spec accord SIR-T with the f20b which looks pretty much the same but the Euro R is a slightly higher spec with the h22
@@kerbweightmedia Not sure what they were thinking, but there is the 6th gen type-R which also has the H22A7 engine. I dont know if there is any considerable difference except the styling. Also there is the Torneo which seems very similar
@@konholio2 yeah the accord type r is based on the European accord and makes a little less power and the Torneo is jdm, same as my car but with a slightly different exterior. Then they had the US spec accord as well haha got no idea what they were thinking!
I got the CL7R imported in NSW. Both accords are good
Nice one! I love the cl7 as well. Great car
hondaa!!!
I used to have an 02 accord v6 the 4 speed auto was trash. Now I have a 94 accord with a h22a swap. It's crazy that the older 4 cylinder is faster then a newer v6.
Thats crazy haha. The h22 goes hard! There’s something special about the vtec 4 cylinder engines
Really nice review. I own a very clean example here in Jamaica 🇯🇲 and it’s a car I’ll never sell. 220hp from the factory with the h22a from the factory, electric power steering, double wishbone suspension, mugen titanium double tip exhaust, lsd gearbox, factory recaros etc. 90’s gem.
Thanks man appreciate it! Definitely a 90s gem!
@paradigmshifter0146 why am I not surprised to see you here😂
Because you know I’m all about the cl1 euro r bro.
Awesome, I’ve got one myself , super fun car, people don’t even know what it is half of the time
