@@romdom9406 I think that's a good call! Letting him remain a spawn is the only way for him to become a better person and heal from his trauma. But I also think it's worth exploring different options to really experience as much of the game as possible, and see the different performances from the cast. They did such an amazing job with all the characters!

But I reloaded so it never happened in my final save. I didn't want to romance Halsin at all LMAO

I am aiming to ascend him on the new playthrough I started today, mostly because it seems like they put so much more effort into that version of him than spawn, and I feel a bit cheated. Why wouldn't what is considered to be his happy ending get more content so you feel more "rewarded" for doing the right thing? It makes no sense to me 😭

@@VepVods yes and it's honestly such a crazy jump to.make from SA to AA. He goes from sweet to a total Dom, but I noticed there is a still a lot of dialogue that is supportive and understanding from AA, which is unexpected. I've done 5 plays so far, 2 have been AA. My current is a Durge evil run, the next I'm planning is a Good Durge, it's been so hard doing an evil run tho Omg, I had a hard time just being rude to NPCs in Skyrim xD this is a whole other level

@@vandalvandalism3341 I have tried really hard to avoid most spoilers, but I felt like doing an evil durge run would make the most sense if I were to ascend him. But so far I've really been struggling to make "bad" choices, so we'll see how far I'll get or if I'll cave and do a resist durge run instead 🥲 The amount of judgment I see from people towards those ascending him though, that is on a whole other level that I was not expecting.

At the end of the day, it's totally your choice, I don't think there exists a truly good or bad choice in that regard, there is a lot of nuance and it'd worth ascending just to see what it's like. Also, for anyone saying you should never do it, it makes you appreciate his sweet spawn self even more after an AA playthrough lol You'll get no judgement from me whatever choice you make 💚🦇

@@vandalvandalism3341Yeah, that's part of the "problem", there are so many different ways you can choose to go in this game and I want to see it all! 😅Well, except anything that makes any of the companions hate me and leave my camp. Yeah, I had played Elden Ring before this, but the reason why I didn't use mikiri counter was because I felt like it wasn't consistent enough for me to risk it with the shorter weapons, so I only used it against the polearms/spears. I didn't like using it at all though, and I was very annoyed by people backseating me and telling me to use it, to the point of me blocking the word from my Twitch chat. I do not like doing what people tell me to do, so much to the point that I will go to great lengths to prove that I can manage without it, just to shut people up 😂

Hard to say, but I am very salty about the godskin duo, because that was the point where I started using summons. But I have to admit the toughest was probably the Elden Beast for me 😂

Hahaha yeah duo boss in elden ring were not as optimized as other fromsoft games xD. Yeah at later stages bosses scaled so much ,it felt like it wasnt worth trying to spend hours on the boss.Thanks miyazaki for summons
