The blaster does fire. The scabbard actually fires darts. One of the necessities needed to compete in the competition.

@@MEDIAJUNKIEZS Thanks a bunch! I'm in East TN, so we're already in the high 60s-low 70s here. I have a few projects on the bench and in the planning stages. I did submit one for the new SMTMT, but it seems it came in a bit late, so I guess it'll be in the April addition. Hope you've got something cooking for that one!

A very nice assortment as usual! And AFG stands for angled foregrip, much like how sometimes people use "VFG" for vertical foregrip. And now you know, and knowing is half the battle :P

So, what are all the programs you're using? Sketchup? I'm currently trying to teach myself all this with 3d printing.

Thanks for the advice on getting the Slingfire back on track, and the compliments on the woodgrain. One thing I can tell you about the technique I employ: It involves a good deal of cursing, wiping it off, and starting over. 😆Humor aside, though, I'll be glad to share any and all details on that....
could you recommend the best type of spray paint to use ?? please
@@laylahingram838 I mainly use Rust-Oleum 2X colors, clear coat and primers. They also have a Universal line that has great metallics and a clear coat called Dead Flat, but I really dislike the nozzle design on those. I use Apple Barrel and Folk Art acrylics for things like bone and woodgrain, and drybrush with them to dirty things up. Exposed metal, scratches, etc, are done with metallic markers or masking. Hope this helps!

@@laylahingram838 I take it you mean narrow it down. Y'know, that tube thing might fly, but you'd wanna try a new one. I've entertained the notion, but never tried it as the need hadn't arisen. Let me know how it goes for you, and if I do it first, I'll come back at tell you... 😁
Excellent video as always. The second blaster from Chan R is a Rayven. The Mk. III is a semi-pro blaster from Dart Zone. It can take either 8AA batteries or a 2S or 3S battery pack as it is wired with an XT60 from the factory.
First Blaster is the Delta Trooper..but great Video as always
coffin black media is a winner all the way it wouldnt have to fire to be a cosplay special..
