Yes you can get a wet towel cover the creases. Put towels in the shoe to put pressure on the creases and iron lightly on the creases

Yeah totally! You can use crease protectors. Another option is making sure the sneakers are very close to your size. If you have creases, shove towels into the toe box and it will minimize creasing

In theory could you put the bottom rubber soles in a very shallow tub with water or water / cleaning mixture to help soften up the dirt? Or would it damage the soles to leave them in the water for 10-20 minutes?
I think it would definitely help, but sometimes the gunk and mud on the bottom is pretty tough so that cuticle tool really helps. It wouldn’t hurt the outsole as long as that’s the only thing your soaking

Any suggestions on how to remove the area where the color ran onto the checkered part example red vans cleaned and the the parts that had checked red and white the red ran onto to white
I would try rinsing it. Color can bleed if you get it too wet or brush too hard when cleaning so I’d try to wash it out but don’t over saturate it
I tried to just do a cold rinse on them but I feel like I need more than just water?
If you have sneaker cleaning solution use that as well that would be the best or some dish soap like dawn that doesn’t agitate

It’s called a cuticle tool. It’s very helpful for tougher pieces
