I don’t think it would make a difference but you just never know. Can always keep your stock system incase things go wrong. What year is your truck?

I upgraded. Same brand, but 4gb ram model with 1080p instead of 720p. I strongly believe it would still be working. The main issue that drove me crazy was the volume was moving on its own however it was probably a factory defect.

It’s still going through break in phase so haven’t been able to get fully on it, but so far so good and it is fun. It definitely feels more like a 100/125cc 2 stroke in my opinion, but we’ll see after break in.

What factory protocol settings do you have it on? I’m working on a 2013 Ram 1500 sport that does not have HVAC mode control knobs. It could only be changed through the stock radio and it does not come up on this head unit. Stuck on defrost. Current protocol settings are on Jeep Renegade, ram is nowhere to be found.
I just figured out how to get mine, I went into the app that said car info and there was a icon that shows a fan blade and it brought up all my climate controls I’m just not sure how to get the icon on my main screen

Check master fuse, check solenoid/replace solenoid, try turning the key a few times, and check every fuse in the fuse box. Also, make sure everything has a solid connection.
Were any extra adapters or connections required to used your steering wheel capabilities like volume?

I doubt this as the problem. I think the problem is the space between the flywheel and the pick up. Air gap needs to be checked
Either way end of the day, you’ll need to replace the flywheel. After some digging it was fairly common for these years to have a flywheel fail prematurely
@@Letsdoittv67 you have to check ohms and voltage. If there's a physical defect, that's a different story. If magnets come loose, like a on steel flywheel, you can re attach them. A lot of ppl take guesses and never really solve the root problem.
75$ for a 450 is a steal the engine even nonrunning would sell for like $1000 then the frame which is like 600 but I think restoring it is the life. It deserves not parting it out.
I’m trying hard. However I just keep running into minor inconveniences. I’ve tried 3 stators, 2 cdi, 2 capacitors and still no spark. Also changed kill switch and checked all grounds. So my buddy will be helping me for the next part.
Do you have HVAC controls on the screen ??? Do they Work ?
No psychical knob only
You can get it to display the hvac settings but you can’t actually control them. It will display as you turn the physical knobs
