Academy of what? What agency? What State? What couty/city?
camp cupcake academy
All I could think about while watching this video is Reno 911
Wow! One female!
2:15 105mph :o
great music
WTH were they doing with the batons? Sword fight? Lmao
all this training and they still are worse than the street gangs.
Cool music
Do you get paid during this training
This is where future fat Nazi pigs learn how to be trained liars, thieves & hyper violent thugs. I hope they all get gut shot.
I retired from the service after 20 years active duty. I am now 44 years old. I was contemplating joining our local TPD here in Tampa Florida.I've gone on three ride alongs in three separate districts and have graduated from the TPD Citizens Academy. Anyone my age currently on duty? Would love to hear from them. Any words of wisdom.
Eddie Leal no age limit means follow your dreams. I say go for it. There’s plenty of applicants and academy cadets that happen to be around your age. Probably more frequent then you think. Get that application in and don’t wait! You’ll regret not trying and live with the what ifs.. Apply for TPD and Hillsboro county sheriff. Nothing to lose! They’re tough agencies to get in to, but are extremely busy and need good officers.
I appreciate the reply Michael. Thank you. If you don't mind sharing....where are you currently working as a LEO?
Eddie Leal not LEO yet, but in the process of applying to a few agencies.
Well best of luck to you sir.
EDDIE LEAL I was in LE for 7 years. I left it to pursue more money. Ten years later and now im 40 and want to go back. 2 more months left of an 8 month long academy. Never to old to live doing what you love. Go for it!
Great video gayyyy ass music though
video is great, the music is AWFUL!
all that training looks honorable...where's the part that teaches cops to be lying pieces of scumbag shit??? or that just happens naturally...lessons on INTEGRITY anywhere????
thats the problem, you nailed it on the head. They emphasize so much on integrity in the academy, but officers tend to lose that integrity as they age in the department.
s
pigs in training
How about coming up with something original huh keyboard warrior? Be a big boy
+Avenged Rider no need, that is original, and none of these guys, including you can top my arsenal at home, so I'll be the keyboard warrior knowing I have ppenty of pig toasters within feet of me.
Allow me to ask but I couldn't help but notice you pic there is 2nd Marine Division were you 2nd Marine?
He probably got kicked out of boot camp the shit bird
I watched all of the video and I have applied to a department for duty.
Got the info from 5:52 that this is Butte College. A law enforcement academy in CA. For anyone, like myself, who wanted to know where this was and who.
Thank you
Pope,Glass,Ditty, real surnames?
What are the prerequisite to be recruited ? Here in Qc, it's 2 years of college and 23 weeks of training at a police academy. And we have great police, we don't see the problem you have in US here ...
brave people
A GUN A BADGE AND A COFFIN ALL THEY GIVE YOU WHEN U JOIN
The odds of you dying as police officer, is less than dying of the average cold.
Where is this??????
back in the western day there was no training needed none that fancy stuff all you needed back in the western day was a cowboy hat cowboy boots and badge and gun that it that all you ever needed back in the day yep.
+jkh301 lol
ya all of our taxes goes to police cars and there uniforms police stations jails too as well where they get the money for all that out of our taxes.
Apparently the taxes used on the schools didn't do you any good considering you can't spell.
JWGDrums THEY GIVE YOU 2 THINGS WHEN YOUR A COP- A GUN AND A COFFIN
+Jon W. G. Your comment made my day. Thanks
all that is tax payers money all of our tax paying money is going to all that toys.
eric branton cops pay taxes to so all the money you pay them they pay right back
You realize cops pay taxes too right?
Anyone with a "D" average and a high school diploma can become a cop!
***** Prove me wrong
***** A 5'1 120 pound nurse will save more lives and keep the community safer then any 6'6 250 pound ex-jock cop will ever do. Cops shave their heads and wear dark sunglasses to project an image of toughness, when in reality they are actually going bald, the neighbor is sleeping with their wives and they drive around in 9 year old lifted truck with a black and blue sticker on the back..
Too Shmart lol damn you must get bullied A LOT.
+Too Shmart well then you do not know a damn thing about law enforcment if you think this.... you're thinking security guard or correction officer, but even then you have to take a acadmey class. SO honestly i have no idea where you got this idea but its a moronic idea and you my sir are a dumbass
brandon anctil Academy class AKA bootcamp.
Very cool… Congrats!
i literally did all of this already at boot camp. lol itll be cake once im done with college and go
Cbyrne11595 did you go?
is it possible that u pass everything n still not make it?
Not to my knowledge. -133rd Graduate
After you graduate from the Academy you go through FTO training, and that's usually about two to three months. That's when you 1st enter the field a veteran police officer is to provides additional training, and observe if you can really do the job
slapshot68 No, they have no reason to Terminate you from duty.
Please take a look at my video if you are ready to go to college and you need to apply for financial aid!
What academy is this?
Butte College Basic Law Enforcement Academy
how old do u have to be
your not old enough if you type like that.
ummm ok? sorry this isnt grammer class
hunter brewer Your grammar will be tested on entry exams to see if you are qualified enough to even enter the academy. If you want to be a police officer everything you do needs to be professional. In the U.S. for a fully fledged unified and certified police officer you have to be 21. Some agencies have "cadet" programs where you can be 18 and go into the academy and earn your "basic" certificate. When you are a cadet even after the academy you still have to take courses and you do petty things such as writing parking tickets and don't go on any calls without a real officer. If you are a cadet and then 21 most agencies give you automatic acceptance into their academy, then you get to become a fully fledged officer. You also have to be a current college student to be a cadet.
Lindsay Gartner Holy cow chill out on the guy. This is the internet not grammar school. I am sure Mr. Brewer is capable of spelling.
@@hunterbrewer5942 It depends, some places you can apply at 18, most departments require you be age 21 so it really depends on what department you want join. Because all requirements are different from agency to agency.
They need to play I'll Make a Man Out of You in the beginning when they're training with their batons.
ALL THAT, and no picture of graduation , getting their BADGES ? Shame, shame.
my hats off to the fine men and women that are part of my home states police force. As an active duty Marine I can relate to the rigourous training that they go through, and how tough it must be. The men and women of the Pennsylvania State Police have my utmost respect and admiration
Yes they are all pathetic and can't lift they're own dicks.
A firearm weighs more than someone's penis, and they shown easily carrying it, so shut the fuck up, thanks.
You train and test all together during the academy
Varies from state and academy. The Academy I'm attending did not require initial testing, just a panel interview. Once enrolled they do an initial testing to see where you are; this includes body fat percentage, push ups, sit ups, sit and reach, and the mile and a half run. Be prepared to take your shirt off and look like a fool infront of 20+ others. I did. After that they record your numbers, and reference it at the end of the academy pre-final testing. Final testing is what counts to graduate
Any word on how many of the graduates found work? I am thinking of applying in August - however not being 100% guaranteed a job and at the same time being out 5-6K+ is clouding my judgment.
Good luck. I graduated from this Class. Very rewarding
I'm going to the 132, starts july 1 2013.
