God this sounds like me. I had multiple disabilities get way worse during covid + my social anxiety got worse and I ended up basically dropping out my sophomore year and taking a test to get my diploma equivalent . I technically did online school for my junior year and did senior year in person but I skipped most days and failed both years bc I was just so tired of everything. I’m finally on the right sleep medication and actually managing to function and I just started college and I am?? So happy?? Things do get better??? I managed to get my ocd and insomnia under control and I’m just. 💜💜

nah seriously my bf thinks i’m crazy cuz when things happen like pushing the skin under my nails together instead of lighting pushing it the opposite way I literally want to just remove my finger nails bcz they feels weird and it drives me insane. Another thing recently i’ve had random urges to rip my piercings out or scratch my tattoos bcz it just doesn’t belong lol

My eyes get so irritated with most make up. I only wear it on special occasions or when I feel like I want to. When I do wear it I am always hyper aware and can feel it on my face as I move... I desperately try not to touch my face but I can't stand to wear makeup for a whole day. I keep it as simple as possible. Also as much as they look beautiful on, I can't handle eyelashes either. Magnetic or glue they still really bother me. Love the ASF hoodie btw!

I feel you hard!! I can’t tolerate makeup, hell I can barely tolerate my own sweat! Sometimes I get so overwhelmed by the feeling of my own sweat and the feeling of sunscreen on my skin I just have to shower and scrub my skin clean until I can’t feel anything on it anymore! Not showing before bed is never an option because the little bit of sweat I could tolerate during the day gets a honderd times worse when I’m in bed and it’s all I can focus on!!!

when i get overstimulated my arms start feeling like there’s bugs crawling under my skin and i’ll start pulling at them to get the feeling to go away, it doesn’t usually go away until i sit in the shower for about 30 minutes to an hour and reground myself

This is sooo relatable.ay I make a suggestion please. Look into sunset makeup. The creator has tism and makes amazing makeup perfect for goths and cosplayers. Lighter than light great for sensory issues. Full coverage with a tiny bit so it last longer than other brands.

Agreed i too wore a full face of heavy goth makeup for years but now i just confuse people with my clothes and music choices. Because the ITCHY TINGLE IS TOO MUCH!! And my over stimulated self can't deal for more than being in around the public with sh#T on my face for any longer than necessary.

I've never liked the feeling of makeup or felt the need to wear it (aside from when I was into bvb). It always made me feel like a clown if I had any on (like not how it looked it just felt really strange and always needed touch ups I hated it). I think it was a sensory thing, it's the other reason why I can't wear jewelry
