READY-MADE HOME RAMP FOR WHEELCHAIRS. INSTALLED BY ANYONE!!!
Hello, I have questions about lithium batteries. Can you use these in any electric chair or mobility scooter or are there differences? I would like to buy some but I don't know which charger I can use, how many amps they can have and which charger is suitable! I currently have AGM batteries with 200 amps, these are good but maybe lithium batteries are better? I live in Germany and where I live I always have to drive uphill a lot, I'm not allowed to use public transport (safety reasons) I bought the mobile privately, the mobiles from the health insurance company have standard batteries on board and they don't last long for me, gel battery for half a year then defective, avoiding deep charging when I'm out and about in snow and ice because I have an appointment (avoiding deep charging) doesn't do me much good, I might have to drive with lights + resistance (snow) + cold, there's not much range left. You understand! :-D Thanks for the info!!
The gentleman promoting PERMOBIL'S "Smart Drive" describes it almost to a "T" +/~\- 20 hours on a conservative battery charge to just run the "smart" drive +9-12 miles of motor power usage 4-6 hours using the "Smart"Watch/PushTracker (less apps and/or internet running = more bluetooth power for the smart drive
I use the smoov and got it mine used for 2,000. It is heavier but I like that the dial is Bluetooth and you can stop by gripping the wheels if your going fast and someone walks in front of you. The battery life is long. Thanks for sharing though as I think insurance is more likely to cover a smartdrive.
The heighth of the rear of the full size van is abnormally high. How about the longer heavier costlier 10 ft ramp being most appreciated.
I would never buy this because it's called a Spyder. I'm terrified of spiders & I'd think of them all the time if I had this. What idiot came up with the name? That was stupid.
Awesome
The spèed dial and watches are a joke. Bring back the original one button wristband smartdrive had before Permobil bought out max mobility and tried to make it better.
I prefer the mid wheel drive also and oddly enough, I just got one of the chairs that you featured in this video the Q 700 M from sunrise and quickie I got mine with tilt and recline, and I am having nothing but great luck with it so far
Thank god bless
If only they were not expensive I have muscular dystrophy 😢 always in pain never had this comfortable power chair 😢i have that weak uncomfortable one the basic
Most power wheelchair manufacturers offer FREE IN HOME Test Drives. Your own living arrangement, lifestyle, and physical condition are different from almost anyone else. If you truly enjoy and know what's waiting outdoors for you, particularly, pray for healing. Forty-three years of quadriplegia, and now age sixty-eight, I can STILL make a Permobil F5 (fwd) power wheelchair work out in our apartment. I love the outdoors but have no 'off-road' expectations from my choice, just the best ride and dependability available. This will be my third fwd pwc out of the thirteen wheelchairs that have been retired with the exception of my 2014 fwd Permobil sitting in our 2nd bedroom. Got deep pockets - buy a used Majic Mobility Extreme 4 all-wheel drive power wheelchair form Marc's Mobility and carry a cell phone. I have no idea why push handles are installed on the backrest of any 300 lbs. complex power wheelchair other than to destroy your surroundings and backrest assembly - the q700m by Quickie has fold-in push handles and stay clear.
I paid 6000 for one if these and had lots of problems with the connection battery to motor. I sent it back two times. The third time it malfunctioned they didn't want to fix it. The technician at the company was a real jerk. I would not recommend this thing. Buy something that works better. Mine is sitting in the garage. What a waste of money.
Smartdrive was perfect when MAX MOBILITY owned it. I've heard nothing but problems since Permobil took over
Not rear wheel drive? 🦼
Where is the slope chart ? Where but threshold ramps?
How much does it cost
Just over 5 k
UK price
i used a Quickie Spider chair before it did not work in a lot of snow
what's the point of a 450lb weight capacity if the seat is only just wide enough for a normal person, Cass fitted in it comfortably with a little room, and she's slim.
Thx facts
Hi Where are you located?
How much is the price and how much is the weight
❤😢
These aren't built for the disabled by the disabled. And so costly that most that need them cant afford them. And good luck getting them repaired.
Nothing worse than a review and not telling you the price. 👎
My first chair was a M3 corpus
I can’t walk and that’s what I have. They’re the best made the other ones seem to have problems.
I wouldn’t have anything but the F3 OR F5 Permobil Permobil for life.
And a ride
I m from BANGLADESH
Really mive how price
Why do people do reviews without saying the price. 🙄
Prices tend to vary depending on your country and options picked on the order form. In Canada, the Smart Drive starts at $7500.
They often don't mention prices because they know most people can't afford those items if its an out of pocket expense. I mean come on. Our TiLite chairs already costs us on average of around $5K when its all said and done. Now another $7500 for this item? Yeah, that's just not realistic for most of us.
Because the price is so high, it's embarrasing to say it and keep a straight face ! The companies that make and market these are immoral !! This technology is not as expensive as they'd like you to believe !!
Unobtainium . At $7500.00 . 98 % of possible customers just left the Bldg.

Dote wish to be rude but why dote you ask the people that rely on these powerchairs what works best for them etc

Where can I buy this?
Hi Sabine! You can check out evac-chair.com/ If you contact them, they will direct you to your local dealer :)
THE GOVERNMENT HAS TO PAY FOR IT BECAUSE THERE IS NO MONEY IN THE CURE.
Is there a website where they can be purchased
Hi Richard. You can check out www.pvimanufacturing.com If you scroll to the bottom you will see " dealer locator tab" and it will show you places near you that stock these types of ramps.
How much is the price?
Hi E & EM tech. These chairs start around $8,500 and can go up to around $ 20,000. Depending on the options you choose.
@@MobilityAbilityDuo Is any website that I can see which one is one price (US$ 8,500) and which one is another price (US$ 20,000)?
You can check out pridemobility.com ( This is the American website) depending on what country you live the website will be slightly different. For accurate pricing you could always send a quick email to Pride in the contact us page and they will send your inquiry to a local dealer for a quote!
@@MobilityAbilityDuo Thank you.

I appreciate yr models but ...if 1or2 steps to climb from pavilion to gate... how? Don't hv slope...at all n can't break law of govt to add slope...pls advice so I can go out indpntly n enjoy Life on own.... Thankful
Have you considered a portable ramp? Depending on how tall the stairs are, you could purchase a 5 - or 6-foot multifold ramp for situations such as these.
I have a FWD hoveround. Also just got a MWD Permobil. Although when you compare the specifications they are very similar I can turn the Hiveround in my small bathroom either the door closed I can not do that with the permibil Also can not pull up close to sink or toilet with MWD. Also, driving the MWD, the front caster wheels make you jiggle all over, while doesn't happen with Hoveround. Do wish hoveround had swing away joystick, and get only power lift, not the other power seat adjustments that the Prrmibil gas.
Thanks for the comments, Mary! Very good points :)
My adult daughter has a mid Wheel drive Permobil M3. It is a wonderful wheelchair and she does not go anywhere without it. We have a 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan and it has the Bruno curbsider to pick it up and she also has a braun turny seat. She will not take the manual chair at all even when we only go out for drives however I see her point. She loves that wheelchair. She may drive very slowly but she feels totally secure and independent with it. That wheelchair also goes up that I can look at her at face level. Thanks for the info. It is great for all to see the differences.
That's awesome! I'm glad to hear that:) it's always nice to hear good feedback/ experiences from a full-time user :)
I have been using a power wheelchair just about my entire life. I HATE midwheel drive chairs but it seems to be all that is made anymore . Yes, a midwheel drive is capable of tighter turns which is helpful in an apartment. But the second you have to drive over any kind of bump, it creates a see-saw sort of action in which the chair is momentarily balancing on two wheels before violently rocking backwards or forwards. Then the front and rear wheels lift the drive wheels off the ground causing total loss of control. Fine for perfectly flat ground...terrible for real world. Front wheel drive is very wonky...the whole back end of the chair which you cant see swings around like a tail. stick with rear wheel drive unless your apartment is too small to navigate .
It is the desire of every disable to have such power wheelchair.

Y'all are hilarious. I felt like I was watching the CRT version of Fargo.
all good information though eh .
I own a power FWD, a power MWD and a manual RWD.. I'll tell you right now.. go MWD.. all the way. RWD maneuverability sucks indoors. FWD has more maneuverability than RWD but it sucks out and about because the front anti-tippers are so low to the ground sometimes it's impossible just crossing the street if the sidewalk angle is a bit too steep or going through a door with a high threshold you can get stuck.. MWD is the best because the front casters allow you to go over thing or even clear a bit of snow before your drive wheels so you are less likely to get stuck and you can also maneuver on the spot, like turning around in the bathroom.
Thanks for the comment Jason! You made very good points! It's great to hear some feedback from someone with experience :)
I just got the Q700M power chair last year. On June 28th. It looks exactly like the one in the video. Except the frame color is red. I have the tilt-feature on it too. I had the QM-710 power chair from 2016-2022. It got retired as my backup power chair. It sits out in my garage now.
