Dogalen a Mabaso - Stellenbosch University Choir
Conducted by André van der Merwe
Composed by Nilo Alcala
The composer employs ostinato patterns and bitonality to convey the story of Dogalen. Dogalen snatched a charm from an old woman. With the charm she planned to enchant a rich sultan. However, the charm fell from her window into the hands of another woman, Raga. As the sultan passed by, Raga presented the charm to him and he fell in love with her. Dogalen’s heart was broken.

Spoegwolf Arranged by André van der Merwe Jy’s hier by my, die son rondom ons.

They must sing every 4 years at the union buildings in Pretoria
❤❤Moçambique
와우~~너무 멋진 무대 감사합니다^^
This! This is the absolutely best version of Baba Yetu in the world. Perfection!
This listener believes that you cut a word out of the lyrics and replaced it with a less vulgar word, thus removing the climactic lyrical impact of disgust that the singer was meant to show and be willing to degrade himself/herself to in order to EXPRESS this disgust without concern about the potential censorship impact that would result - and you cut the sharpest point of the sword and made it dull.
Please can I get the score?
They absolutely nailed it… Can’t stop listening to it, such an amazing piece of art work from the diverse community of SA❤.

you can always sing alone, but your voice will sound better with other people around
