Yes I agree I love the mount and rail assembly on this kit. I’m in the works of getting one for my vistalite kit as well. I just installed two atlas mounts with the 16” rod to put on the Ludwig atlas telescoping cymbal mount for my ride on my vistalites bass drum. I like this so I don’t have to have holes drilled in my shells.

@@kevineatondrumchannel That's exactly what I will also use for my Paiste 2002 24 Inch Ride Cymbal and Paiste Giant Beat 26 Inch Multifunction Cymbal with my Ludwig Amber Vistalite Zep Set; the Ludwig ATLAS Telescoping Cymbal Mount with the 16 inch rod with two Ludwig ATLAS mounts.

@@kevineatondrumchannel I would say it's the untitled fourth album for me, but I enjoy them all. My advice, cymbal wise, to you is that Paiste cymbals from their 2002, Giant Beat, Signature Reflector, RUDE, Formula 602 Classic are well worth the investment. The 2002 line is especially what I play. Why not think of investing one day in a pair of Ludwig timpani? 🙂 How does one email you?

Thanks a bunch for that compliment Scott!! It's hard to describe with typing how my heads are tuned. I plan on making a tuning tutorial video here soon. I have a quite a few requests for that as is so I'll be getting on that soon. I will say the heads are decently tight. Bottoms are much tighter than tops. Tops are usually about a mid-mid/high range. Same with snare. I'll for sure explain it more in detail once I make that video. Hope that answers some of your question. Thank you!

Thank you! I would but in this video I'm using the exact snare that came with this kit as it's a John Bonham reissue kit. That and the snare just happens to be my favorite snare to use as well. Cheers!

Hey Adrian, Thank you so much for the comments. The green sparkle kit specifically has on top Remo Emperor Coated and on bottoms are the Remo Ambassador Coated. I typically tune much higher on the bottoms and mid to mid/highs on the top and just adjust to taste after that. I’ll be making a video here soon to get more in depth for over my tuning since I have a lot of people requesting that.
