Hi guys, today is the day you get to see the update of the bike. It's 3 weeks late, I do apologise, but I did have final exams when I got my bike. So that's my excuse, other than that I hope you enjoy.

Where can I get this colour?
How much is this bike? I don't see it being available here in the US.
I think this one might not be available then, I did quick have a look and could find it myself on the US website it’s just in red
do you get the bike in the same box if you buy it on a other website
No this is so wrong bro
cool bike
Hello, are the pedals delivered with the bike?
Not included
Would you say this is beginner friendly to assemble? Like first bike assembled, easy instructions?
Yes
More than 38 000 views. Not just me then that have a shitty mudguard.. back one in my case.

What is the wheel size
29”

How much was this bike in US dollars? And do they sell it in the US? Also when did you order it?
I think they still sell it in the US, I’m not sure about the price as I live in the UK, but they are out of stock at the moment. Unless it’s different in the US, I bought it almost over a year ago now I think.
@@Danielsmountainbiking cool thanks! Do you mind me asking how much did you pay for it in pounds?
Yeah, that’s fine, it was 1.2k I think they are, which if you convert it. It’s $1600
Cool
What pedals did you buy
That thing is called a derailleur hanger
How is sram sx? I really like this bike but i've read some bad reviews about it.
The Sram SX isn’t bad at all, it’s a definite upgrade from my old gears, but they definitely not the best gears out there, but they great for the value
The SX feel kinda cheap, the feel of NX is already much better
What size should i buy, i am 1,83 ?
Check Canyon's website, they can you tell you
You’re in between a large and medium bracket of height, my friend is your height and he went for the large, it feels no different to to the medium but the handle bars a little wider and obviously the frames a bit bigger. So it’s a personal preference for you I guess .
Is ur bike grey or white
Grey
hey, im probably late to the party but how fast tdid the bike sold out?
I don’t remember exactly but maybe a month or 2, I could be wrong tho but I would say around there in time wise.
@@Danielsmountainbiking thank you, another question. did you pre order this or did you just straight up buy it?
@@acxelcalpito572 when I bought it, it was available to just straight buy it, but I have a friend who’s waiting to buy it when it’s in stock again in September around there. Hope this helped
Hey, what's the weight?
~14kg I think
You can hardly blame Canyon for the delays caused by the pandemic...
Yeah, but we have been in the pandemic for 2 years so you sort of can for not facilitating more covid safe work spaces to work around the issue to keep the factories working safely. Also many delays may and will come from the delays of parts in which case it’s out of canyons control to be on time.
Very nice bike, i can’t buy in my country! 😭
Oof, sorry bud
wr r u from bro?
@@tergelb.1333 i’m from Viet Nam
How tall are you and what size did you get?
Just under 1.8m and a medium frame
Very nice, I’m debating if I should go for the stoic 3 or stoic 4
Well if you have the money for the 4, I would say the 4, but the 3 and 4 are basically the same bike. As they both have droppers, good brakes and all that. If you going to ride big and rough things where you need a lot of personal adjustments as in suspension I would say the stoic 4 then, as it’s the top of the top for the stoic, thus making it the best. But if you looking at value for money then I would say stoic 3. With the less adjustment points would be it’s only downfall. For the stoic 3 towards the stoic 4. To conclude if you have the money for the stoic 4, then send with it.
@@Danielsmountainbiking thanks I’ve decided on the 4 already but where I am there’s no stock so have to wait a bit but thank you very much
What size of frame is that?
This is a medium frame
@@Danielsmountainbiking want to sell the bike?
Hello! Could you please tell me the size of the frame and your height because i don t know what size to get, thanks.
Yo Tudorr711, I’m just under 1.8m I think, so I bought a medium frame. As it will be the right size for me so it’s not too long or too short, as the frame sizes have a long reach compared to other bikes. Keep shredding!
How tall are you? And what frame size?
Just under 1.8m or I am 1.8 meters, with a medium frame
Can you say st about the recon fork? How is it?
Yeah, well coming from a xc30 fork to the recon it feels way better, today I rode down a rooty, drop filled train and it handled well. Obviously it isn’t the most expensive and well made fork but it is good for trails and your average mountain bikes. It’s quite plush in the high frequency impacts, with a good sensitivity from beginning to mid-stroke; still having support for the mid to end stoke on very big hits. I would give it a 7/10 for the price, performance and adjustability.
Can I ask your frame size????
Medium
@@Danielsmountainbiking thx!
@@Danielsmountainbiking high?
Wao, amazing bike, I ordered the same bike on February but the delivered is planning to November. Which size is your stoic Daniel?
I have gotten the Medium size frame.
Ayo House Tour? 🤣
I don’ think you go’ the faculties for that big man
Very cool Dan! I'm sure it's going to give you alot of great memories!
Ordered one of these in early Jan and it’s still not with me. Estimated delivery dates are mid-July, not ideal
Yeah not ideal, but is worth the wait, wel that’s what I think anyways.
Friend ordered one at the beginning of the week and it arrived Friday. Very quick shipping
dude that's not bad! I went to a Trek store to ask about getting a new road bike and they told me if I ordered that day I would get it sometime around May 2022!!
@@pelisinho Oh wow that’s a massive wait
@@Danielsmountainbiking yea and its pretty much the same for other bike brands, I would say that Canyon is the best bet now, you can put some chrome addons that scan the site and send you and alert whenever the stock changes, sometimes people cancel their orders and the bike appears in stock, I got mine like this and only had to wait 2 weeks for it to be sent :) (addon name is Distill)
I ordered mine on February 1st, and it's still nowhere to be seen ;)
Same
Im plannin to order one in august. Where do u live,if u dont mind askin?
@@miluhaver In England
do u think its better than sentier vr? very close on price and spec i think.
Yes I would say they’re close, but I think the Canyon stoic frame is stronger than the Sentier as it is a CAT4 frame which is an enduro spec frame, in which I think the Sentier is a CAT3. Correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s my 2 cents.
@@Danielsmountainbiking good point. Stoic is heavier though.
Apologies for the late response, but I have noticed the weight jump from a lighter bike to a heavier one, and that I can say it takes a week or 2 to get used to it as all new things. Now I barely notice it, more you ride the stronger you get the less weight you feel, if that makes sense. I hope this helps you decide. Ultimately, it’s your choice; that our preferences may be slightly or greatly different.
i'm 5'10" and thinking between medium and large, any advice? how do you like the medium size and what is your height?
Yo, well I’m not far from your height at all I think I’m just under 5’10”, I ride a medium, as it’s a bit more nimble and easier to throw around, where the large is a bit bigger, and longer and just a bit more stable a speeds. If you are looking at a trail bike that you going to do trails and things that will require being agile I would recommend the medium. But if you more into xc the large wouldn’t be a bad option, when and if you can try test out a large to medium frame, as when you in the gaps between 2 frames it comes down to preference. I personally like a smaller and more agile bike, but you may not. So just give both frames a try if you possibly can. I hope this helps you a little bit. Keep shredding!
@@Danielsmountainbiking thanks for the heads-up, yep I'm more prepared for xc so i would go for large I think.
@@marcelinosdionisio sick, hope it all works out 👍
when is your new bike coming? Can you do a review when it does

You don't have 7 bills.... how did you get a bike to start with?
I did this same thing and made a rear mudguard using the entire 2 liter bottle
Oh, very nice :)
@@Danielsmountainbiking and I use a rear bicycle reflector mount to attach it. When looking at it it almost looks invisible. A salesman at a local bike shop (mellow Johnny's) said it was too flimsy and wouldn't work. IT DOES WORK FABULOUSLY!!
Oh wicked, that's great to hear. I'm happy it works for you. Thank you for testing it out and giving me all this amazing feed back. :)
I buy this bike but in L size, delivery was scheduled for February and is now in April. I can't wait to arrive...
Yeah, it’s going to take a bit of time, but I think it will be worth the wait
@@Danielsmountainbiking i want to buy the stoic 2 , why does it take so much time to deliver ?
@@lapescuitcubucsa3627 Canyon bikes are German and only manufactured through the company. Covid has also delayed shipments so it will take time.
I think, it’s due to the fact that they’ve had a massive spike in orders. So they have a backed up order list, so it should be a bit of time to get through the thousands of orders.
the XS size goof for girl? , im 4'6
