didn't know y'all liked this 😭 here's my second piece (aka op.1)
here I'm at it again. I wrote this when I was 13 too. I'm 16 now btw and not a thriving musician ofc.
because some of you gave good comments on my previous video of my own composition. I decided to post this as well, I hope it's ok 😭

We went to a small private concert given by a recent graduate of New England Conservatory in Boston to thank his sponsor. After the concert, I looked around the room of about 30 people and there was Hilary sitting in the back. She apparently is/was a mentor to this young man and came to hear his recital. She didn't play but I got to talk with her for about 5 minutes. She is as wonderful a person as she is a violinist. A dream come true.

I keep coming back to this and comparing it to others, I just realized what I really like (in addition to all the obvious Hilary stuff 👍) is the tempos!! 😳 This can really sound frenetic sometimes and this is just spot on for me!! 👏

According to Wikipedia: "Violin Concerto No.8 (orchestrated by Jacques Ysaÿe)". It is not a violin concerto proper. It is more a Reverie for Violin and Orchestra, almost a tone poem or long orchestral interludes in an opera. The interest is the composition itself, not the solo part. Very interesting indeed.
Yes that's true! But Ysaÿe named it a violin concerto so so did I. It is true because there is no sonata form I think. I'm not sure.

@@mysterexotique the reason why I can post it is because I don't earn money off of it. I am not an official 'creator'.
My theory is that they took it down because she made a couple of little slip ups here and there. Top soloist are usually really picky about this stuff so i think hilary is also happy with the video being taken down.
