Boar Acolyte (Reave spectres) PoE 3.24
These spectres have been in game since patch 3.0 (the big 10 act update) and to my knowledge are the only Reave mobs that are available for us to spectre. I wanted to see how they perform in deli T16 when properly geared. Reave version they use has ability to repeat 2 times, so it's kinda built-in multistrike and when socketed with actual multistrike, in total gets 5 skill repeats, but the biggest limitation 4 sec cd (typical ggg move).
I this video im converting them to chaos and scaling crit. Overall they do a decent job at clearing maps, but they are a bit slow and lag behind player and are needed to convocate a lot. Boss dmg is ok, nothing crazy.

Note when raising these mobs, pay attention to corpse, there are 2 versions of boar acolyte, the one you want is with boar head mask, the other one without has no Reave skill.
Maybe one day we will have proper reave spectres.

Electric Executor (Earthquake spectres) PoE 3.24

I tried these so you don't have to. Spectres use earthquake on 12 sec cd with 50% phys to lightning conversion, which can be used with multistrike. Performance with 9 of them is beyond terrible even on absolute lowest graphic settings. Syndicate Conduit spectres (PoE 3.24)

These spectres use heavily nerfed version of Arc which doesn't have ability to chain and doesn't deal more dmg per remaining chain, so a chain support gems is very needed for map clearing. They also have bad AI which likes to wander off in random directions. They normally don't appear in desecrate pool, but i found out by raising 1 rare(yellow) version of mob, forces them to appear in desecrate...
Brutal Incarcerator (Brutus) spectres (PoE 3.24)

Brutus spectres are very heavy on pc resources, my specs are i9 10850k, rtx 4080 and in all my spectre testing i never seen such low frame rates until now. Map clearing with them feel kinda unreliable, they use ground slam which has 6 sec cd, and medium range multi slam, both can be used with multistrike, in this way they never get to use hook skill which is crap anyway. Karui Backburner (melee fire) spectres (PoE 3.24)

These spectres use leap slam to close distance and then use 3 melee combo attack which have 75% phys to fire conversion. Map clearing is pretty good for a melee minion, and single target is also good on a 6L only. I was pleasantly surprised by these, a solid non meta spectres. These spectres use lightning storm on 4 sec cd and 3 sec duration, they use melee attack when spell in on cd. These are from Searing Exarch influenced maps. They have a nova spell and fire projectile, both have small cooldowns, but since i have 9 spectres the cd's are barely noticable. The big fire ball cant be supported by gmp or volley but can use returning projectiles, but they loose that explode effect, which makes map clearing feel worse. I've been doing some Spectre testing myself, currently been trying to verify whether or not there is any way to get chaos callers into the desecrate pool, have you tried finding a way to get these guys yet? They have a similar "not In the desecrate pool" problem
i have not seen them as corpses with Invasive Adversaries method, perhaps they spawn only as rare mob in packs with Chaos fanatic
@@VelvetSky1102 I've seen them as a white mob and a rare, they usually pretty squishy with only one in a pack. I've tried using conversion trap to isolate them and they don't appear to drop a corpse, wasn't sure if there were other strats people use to grab them
these are great, thank you for the tests and showcases. frankly upon reflection, all GGG really needs to do to make spectres better is make the gem more powerful, it's a simple fix, there are a bunch of great spectre options that vary in a lot of aspects but giving us a more powerful gem would make us try to use the weaker ones's other attributes more and it would add to the creativity of builds, right now the weak cool ones are so ineffective there is just no real practical excuse to use them, it's just for the visuals or playstyle, they can't actually clear real content or do ubers without super top tier defensive structure and near mirror stuff for offense
you should share your POB's for these, it would be very useful even if you're not doing a ton of tailoring between spectre tests/showcase except support gems, these are great though and very useful, and fun, I'll be trying more types, I have a standard character that I am currently doing a bunch of this with

I am new to minions, I'm playing holy relic right now and have lvl 98 witch that I can respec to real minion build :D I just want to find something that will be uber boss viable, and be able to clear t17 at any even very low speed. I want to have fun with them before league is finished. can you suggest what build is best for it?
kinda late to this comment, but anyway i would suggest Tawhoa Shaman spectres (crit or poison version, just don't go for the one where you sacrifice your flasks and give them to spectres), or if your willing to invest about 100 divs into 10L setup or more, then Syndicate Operatives , particularly i seen ppl go with brutality, impale version which seems to be strongest.

These are probslby the best melee spectres outside of crushclaws. I have tried them in a mid budget setup and they perform quite well. Map clear suffers a bit due to them being locked into animations.
Disruptor / Violator are also good and Grotesque Maw, but Maw needs a lot of investment in minion defenses to survive hard content.

Been using them for delve, ultimatum and ritual. Increased AOE node for coverage + ncreased duration gem for Perma lightning, = fullscreen thunder, very fun. But very bad for mapping tho
