How do i use mag power in pso on steam deck, no button works. Please help, thank you 🙏🏻

I remember having the rare weapons and mags. I used to play the xbox version, and many people gifted me these items and I'd dupe them on my AR somehow. Seems like I remember someone told me many were from the DC version, and many werent obtainable in xbox version. I just remember having most all of them, duping them, handing them out. I cant remember hardly any of the names, but most everyone wanted Tsumikiri J sword or Sange and Yasha.

We need a new MMO that has a real fucking grind to it. Like it takes you a year of leveling to hit cap, and that's just on one class. Then add in the PSO rare drop system but maybe dial it up to 11. Have hundreds of unique incredibly strong and rare/unique weapons/gear/items that kinda "define" that player. I want it to be 3 years into the game, first expansion coming up, and people STILL haven't found every rare.

finally since ephinea added right analog camera controls i can properly play PSO1 its fun game ngl especially if you can properly where you can look(except aiming, need to reposition your own character, its tedious but thats the fun, its more annoying and harder than Base PSO2 wher yo can just lock on in a good way xD)

Since you mentioned you're looking for more games that go for this specific loot and chill vibe, I highly suggest checking out Towerborne when it releases on Sep 10th. It looks very much like a fun online co-op rpg that shares similarities to PSO and PSU.

i wish i could play this but they dont let people play on sylverant unless they have a unique snak, and not only was my actual dreamcast registered back in the day (i got it used) i just straight up cannot find a legit copy of pso v2 anywhere. straight up gatekeeping to the <50 people that have pso v2 discs in 2024

For some reason I tried to install it the same way you did but it doesn’t load the launcher at all except on desktop mode but even then that doesn’t work since it won’t launch the game, any tips?

I'd play with my nephew on gamecube, just kids, no idea how to even get the game online. We'd see those red items drop and our primal instincts kicked in. Running immediately to pick it up. Begging the other for it if the item was more suited for our particular class. I was always a force, he was always a ranger. Even funnier when we got the item, it was something the other needed but then we'd delete the item in front of them for funsies. So evil. So funny.

Kids today would be in mental indtotutes if they had to deal with pso's levels of rarity. Bring this back. Kids need to lesrn how to struggle.

This was my first Phantasy Star game until PSO2 and I was in love. Real amazing stuff.

I remember being so into it and still enjoying local co-op back during release. It's a shame that this game got overlooked, but also for the time I think a lot of people wanted more out of the loop

I'm currently working on a RAcaseal cosplay, and seeing people still playing really brings so much joy to me. I've been playing since the game first dropped on Dreamcast, and I've been into the series since I first played Phantasy Star 2 and 4, but Online is the one that REALLY made me fall in love.

This was my introduction to phantasy star and I immediately fell in love with it. I wish I was able to finish the story. I got into pso2 about a month or two before ngs. Kinda fell out after that launch. I want to get back into it, but I'm away from home too much now. Kinda stuck to playing mobile mmos. That said if anyone has a recommendation for a mobile/pc crossplay mmo, I'd appreciate it

Great setup video! I've been going back and replying Phantasy Star Online on my Steam Deck. Thanks to you. I do have one question, though. Do you have any advice on how to get the steamdeck keyboard to work so you can chat with others? It seemed to work the first time I downloaded Blue Burst, but I had to reinstall the game, but since then, it doesn't seem to work for in-game chatting unless I'm doing something wrong be fair I don't really know how I did it the first time honestly was kind of an accident, but it works when typing a name for a group and such, but can't figure out in game chat.

Been playing it on the dreamcast on VgA recently and the game look better than the Gc/xbox version. It's the game that defined a new era of gaming, one of the most avant-gardiste game in its time for what it brought to the industry, and should be regarded as such, siding next to mario 64 and OOT for how innovative it was.

Had this on an R4 card back in the day and managed to get it online. Being a fan of PSO I was surprised this game didn't get more attention

Igot this hoping it was going to go back to the turn based RPGs that the first 4 games were. I didn't get that, and hated it because of that. PhantasyStar 4 is in my top 10 games , and I've hated every entry after that .

The S J Sword is one in 23,000 drop rate with an enemy that you do not encounter much of.

Got my 2 Frozen Shooters naturally, my friend rest his soul got the unsealed J Sword and got the 30,000 or so kills to unlock its true form.

God/battle is hands down my favorite item in game. And i spent tons of hours lvling up specific color ids to farm certain items for my skyly hucaseal with twin sabers. It speeds up all attacks by %30. Chain sawd is a close second.

This was the game that made me quit WoW. I didnt even know about this game, i just downloaded it on my R4 and gave it a whirl. I then found an awesome community online in xatu (i think thats what it was called) its like a chat room. We were all hunting together trying to get weapons. I got this black sword large 2 hand sword thst you got from the last boss and its special was just epic. Although i think later on i found out loots can be hacked, then it lost all meaning so i quit. But it was such a blast!

Is it online with other players?

If everyone in ur party was a legit player that got their rare weapon drops not by other players but the way the game was meant to be played, then the game was so much friggin fun, the problem with typing"Legit players only" in a party create, and then of course gets flooded with non legit players lol.

i was able to get a set of the official ps2 s-video cables on clearance from zellers or something. the really nice metal ones. i bought them after scoring a sony xbr trinitron at a thrift. the first game i tried was kingdom hearts, i was at that battle with the sleeping beauty witch dragon. it was effing beautiful.

1 of only 2 games that I ever had to stop playing completely. One day I was doing a solo run through the ruins on Ultimate. Made it to the 3rd area, it took me about 3 hours. Suddenly, power went out. All progress of that run was lost. I was so pissed. Angrier than I thought I could be about such a thing happening with a game and that was a problem. I was struck with a moment of clarity, that this game had a hold on me like no other game had before, and I couldn't allow that. This game is just too addicting. For anyone curious what the other game was that I had to stop playing completely, it was Civilization. Of course.

and frozen shooter isnt even that rare when psycho wand drop 1/215 from a rare enemy that have a 1/500 spawn rate x.x it also have a 1/300 000 chance to drop from from a normal uncommon enemy..... I like how much personally every item was, it wasn't just a cool skin and damage increase like pso2, it was literally a new skill too.
