I think you misinterpreted the ruling. As you stated, the supreme court held that persons have a legal obligation to disclose their HIV status when there is a realistic possibility of transmission. Persons who are undetectable are untransmittable as research has shown and as stated by the CDC, so thus there is no realistic possibility of transmission. Persons who are HIV+ but on treatment and are undetectable do not pose a realistic possibility of transmission, thus disclosure isn’t necessary, unless they have not been consistent with their medication.
